I worried about that at first, but I realized that if he was swallowing things like that we would have figured it out by now. For now all I can do is trust him.
It feels like Barney is lonely emotionally, and needs a mate to cuddle with, and chat with. A nice female might make him happy. ♡♡♡ I feel a lot of loneliness coming from him, like there's more to life and he knows it. Maybe he would really like being married, and a father, and having baby birdies to play with.
There's no guarantee that he or a lady would hit it off. They could even fight. Also, if he did bond with a female, Tim would most likely be rejected, or even acted aggressively toward.
