    The AR45 pump is rated at max 290 PSI because the manifold is made out of poly…. Prolonged use at that PSI will crack it… in order to achieve higher PSI a metallic manifold has to be used

      My manifold always cracks where the mold seams are. I would love to have a stainless steel manifold.

      Thank you for that. I'm leaning that way from all the good reviews.

    I know this video is a little old but what pump did you finally go with ? I am a pump repair tech in the Ag business a lot of our customers using D30s GRGIs use them with the Honda GX 160 with no issues , most are spraying trees with the d30s .

    I watched your video on your predator 670 build. How did you end up connecting your downstream injector. I was going to do the same thing and run 1/2 wip and 50ft of 1/2 hose. But I wasn't sure how to adapt my Injector because that has 3/8. And I want to use quick disconnects. How do you adapter 3/8 qd with 1/2 hose. Or did you just couple everything w/o qd?

    • @housewashing5693
      @housewashing5693  Год назад

      I ran everything 3/8. 3/8 whip to 1/2 unloader with 1 3/8 x 1/2 bushing. Then used a 3/8 x 1/2 bushing out of the unloader to a 3/8 whip line to the injector. Then 3/8 out of the injector to my reel. I used a 1/2 unloader because it flow much more than a 3/8. Then I simply bushed it down to 3/8

    Why isn't AR addressing this ? Mine leaks like crazy and how come I never see on RUclips the comet problems

      I was going to buy a comet pump but was told by North Georgia airless that parts are hard to come by. So I went with the 45.

      @House Washing I get it , Jonathan at north Georgia airless is awesome he's been very accommodating in sending parts under warranty but AR needs to address it with its manufacturing

      @@crystalclearwindowsllc I have no issues with NGA. They are fair with prices and shipping costs. More so than other companies I've bought from. I love the diaphragm pump. I just am sick of the 45's issues.

    Remember there is working pressure and burst pressure. That would be what I would be after with my hoses. Do you downstream vinyl or use the ar pump?

    Just off of reputation alone, I imagine Udor would be a good brand to consider.

      I think the real issue is parts availability. AR45 parts can be had at a lot of outlets.

    D30 shoots better than comet P40. Not sure about AR45

    Last year I wanted to purchase an ar45 pump. I called midwest, pressure wash outlet and several other companies and they all stared me towards the comet p40. And all these companies sell the ar maybe they have better deals on the comet but they all led me that direction. Unfortunately believe it or not I couldn't fit the machine in my box truck the way it's set up. I just purchased the Northstar 24v pump and tested it the other day with the red gun and was blown away. Just got the proportioner can't wait to set this thing up.

    To achieve the distances you want with the 580 psi, you may need more horsepower than what you have. I believe you have a 6.5 hp engine to run your AR45. I run a GX390 11 hp to power my 15 gpm Udor 55. Check the specs of the AR50 or 30 before buying to achieve those high pressures.

    • @housewashing5693
      @housewashing5693  Год назад +1

      I would run it at 250 - 300 for 90% of my washes. Then bump it to 350 - 400 on the other 10%. I think the 6.5hp should barely get that done......

    • @gregjones4844
      @gregjones4844 Год назад +1

      Check the shaft diameter required for the 30 or 50 pump to make sure your 6.5 engine is the same.

    Are the Comet pumps a viable option? Just this morning i saw a video of a guy using the D30. According to him they are built better. I'm using 12 volt and i really want something that has more volume output for rinsing. I'm having a helluva time trying to decide which way to go.

    • @housewashing5693
      @housewashing5693  Год назад +1

      There has to be a better option than the 45? We just have to find it

      I just bought the 24v Northstar pump I only tested it with red gun and was blown away. I just received the proportioner from midwest I will be setting up.when I'm free and will give feedback. For the price you can't beat it from what I already saw.
