  • So you
    Best option for a gas roof pump/ soft wash system hands down would be the AR30/ D30 Hypro agricultural pump. We built our setup using a ‪@harborfreight‬ Predator 212 small engine. Delivering 9.5 GPM at a distance of 50-60 feet!!!

    Could you just use the trash pump reduced down to your spray hose without the ar30

    • @LakesideServices
      @LakesideServices  28 дней назад +1

      @@SodBustersMetalDetecting you could 100% and it would “work”, but there are a few notable differences that effect longevity…Trash pumps are NOT designed for anything other than water to run through them (water and small debris) so the chems alone will make that a short lived pump. The other issue is trash pumps are designed to just pump with no “resistance”, so if you were to put a wand or gun on like we use there would have to be a “blow off” or “relief valve” plumbed in.
      Much like the setup on a hydro seeding unit.
      So yes it would “work”, but not recommended or ideal for the chems and application process.

    Thanks for the video, seems like the most economical way to get a gas roof pump. Appreciate your knowledge, maybe i CAN afford a gas pump. 🙂

    Curios what happens if you run out of gas while your using system or you dont open valve when you turn it off? What parts break? How hard is it to replace those parts? Right now we just downstream everything. Thx for video

      We have run it out of gas a handful of times, all we do after it shuts off is open that valve to relieve the pressure, refuel, and start up again.
      As far as what could/would happen if you left the blowoff line shut at start up…for one it will start hard, every pull of the chord your building pressure, and secondly you could blow a seal. Unlikely, but it could happen.
      If that does happen, it is a very easy and simple fix…10min job with no tools required

      But I’ve had a few questions on that front…so I will touch more in depth on those questions when we pull the pump apart to show full maintenance 🤙

      Ok sounds like my kind of system. Gotta go seal some pavers but I will check out parts needed to build one later. I keep replacement parts in shop for all my equipment that is the reason for the questions. Thx for info.

      @@pavermakeover perfect! Thats what everyone should do, I keep at least 2 of every seal on hand, plus misc fittings to keep rolling…this is by far the most user friendly setup I have seen on the market.
      Great for getting into a gas system without breaking the bank, or having to deal with unnecessary troubleshooting on the regular

    So when I look at the link for this pump it says the following "Hypro/Pentair is no longer distributing the 9910 series of diaphragm pumps, components, and related parts. Products with Hypro labeling will be unavailable soon." Does this mean they are phasing this pump and parts out?
