I know I had to follow Al's repertoire when I first listened to him in the 70s. A great writer and musician!

I've seen Stewart several times in concert but he never played this piece which is one of his most emotional songs. Thank you!

I love this! Great performance by Tim, but around 3:19 he misses a couple of chords and Al turns to him smiling. Looking at Al and Tim I think this was taken about 20 years ago... am I right? (Y) I can tell Al is very happy to play with Tim!

Yep I'd guess this is about 20 years ago. I was lucky enough to see Tim play with Al a couple of times and they do seem to have great fun on stage together!

Bunjies coffee house in the SoHo section of London
This was Al’s main place he played that was a place visited by other folk artists such as Canadian Bruce Cockburn
They should do a documentary of the whole SoHo scene during that period
One dream performance would have Al Steward and Bruce Cockburn perform at the same venue one day
They both are still active on the playing circuit
