I bought one of these about a year ago, in lieu of a new F-150 Raptor. Before buying it I compared it to comparably priced Tahoes and Yukons, and liked the expedition the best. I like the look of the GM units more, but for the money, the features of the Ford have them beat by a long shot. After ten months of ownership, I have to say, I love it! The exclusive interior is spacious, comfortable and I really like the red stitching accents and black camo-looking trim. It's comfortable on long trips to boot. We had mine loaded up with six people and their luggage, and I still managed 22 mpg on a trip from NY to VA. It's quick, as far as SUV's go, as well. I really like having the large center screen. BUT, if it goes out, you're screwed. You can't control ANYTHING if it does. (Which is why I bought a ten year/100,000 mile warranty on it!) My only complaints about it are as follows: I wish the digital gauge cluster were a bit more configurable. The floor behind the third row is not flat, and is slightly angled toward the hatch. It makes me uneasy any time I put groceries back there. Why did they put a chrome trim piece along the windows all the way around the vehicle? It's a stealth package. A black trim piece would have been a lot more appropriate. My last gripe is the location of the rear wiper blade. There is plenty of room to mount it on the top or the window, almost hidden, as they do on the GM SUV's.
I just bought that 2023 car and I love it, the only issue that Ford forgot in all its models except the timberline is that it does NOT have a front skid plate, leaving a huge hole and it is difficult to get it and it is also very expensive, the 2023 front skid plate It costs more than $1200, such an expensive car should not be sold like that, otherwise it is a great car.
Excellent review! My only request would be to have sections in the video so that a person can jump to what it is they are looking for. (i.e. Exterior, Interior, drive, etc.) Thanks for showing everything in this vehicle. Looking at maybe getting one soon.
The stealth performance package on the limited comes with the more powerful ecoboost. One of the perks of the package. This one should not have the 400/480 spec'd engine.
I like the Expedition with Stealth Performance package, But even checking every box, you can't get multi contour seats. This is a vehicle you'd likely take long trips in and those seats are a must have IMO. The Aviator is a better deal and you can even get black belt moulding when you select the Jet package.
Your comparing apple to oranges when comparing the expedition to an aviator. I actually just finished my aviator lease and ended up purchasing a 2024 expedition limited max. The expedition checks 3very box over the aviator including the seats, I had multi contour seats, the actual seats on the expedition are more plush and comfortable. The aviator seats are not as comfortable.
I've been looking at the stealth performance package, I prefer it in iconic silver, but this package is supposed to have red brake calipers. Seems like an all too quality control issue at Ford. I have to wonder if they even knew what hehicle they were building. GEEZ! Oh and that silver around the outer edge of the eheels looks ridiculous on a "stealth package;" same goes for the chrome around the window trim. Ford you need to up your attention to detail! Makes the potential buyer much more apt to drop 80k+!
If you want a vehicle with a defective transmission, buy a Ford. If you want something more reliable, buy a GM. I am trading my 2021 Ford Expedition Max Limited this weekend for a Suburban or Yukon. I already had my transmission rebuilt at 50k miles and back a few times after to the dealership for the same issues. Ford makes a real POS.
I've never heard anyone complaints about Ford's transmission before. I think there was an issue with your vehicle in particular or an evil eye😅 BTW though Ford and GM have the same 10 speed transmission. Ford have developed and tuned their own for the 2024 models. Case in point check some reviews about the acceleration and down shifts and compare all the platforms trucks, SUV, muscle cars and I bet you you'll choose the Ford over the competition in every single platforms
My expedition stealth needs the transmission fixed at 57k miles. The hatch needed fixed twice, 3 different keypads, outlet in 2nd row stopped working. The list goes on....

Always liked the looks of Ford's for decades. Worth every minute of viewing. Thanks. Peace.
Thank you Michael!
RUclips started recommending your videos to me again. Congrats on 20k man and a beautiful Expedition
Thank you!

One day......... I buy the 24' Ford Expedition.
One of the best review period!!

I like the blacked out look. Never been a chrome type of guy.
I'm with you on that one
I can't afford a 2024 Expedition but I'm cool with my 2015 Expedition XLT....it's plenty powerful..and has all the features I need
You only have one free hand. How could you adjust the volume and fan speed at the same time even if they had separate controls?
Now my first new Ford Expedition to afford.
I think that 15 inch screen looks " obnoxious".
Yeah, needs to be integrated into the dash better
Does anyone know the capacity of Type-C chargers in the car? 30 watts 20 watts or what?
I would buy it if it would be available with 5.0 V8 engine. Great review as always. Greetings
The 5.0 should definitely be an option - but this EcoBoost is very potent

What's the MSRP? I didn't catch it in the video.
You can replay the video.
$82,760
Nice chrome accents with the piano black everywhere. Too much on the bread box style if this be called styling and it isn't.

The jet package Aviator is sweet!

This is just a stealth, NOT stealth performance
Very Good Car Expedition 2024 for American
For us geezers could you walk up and kick a tire sometime? It doesn't do anything but its something we used to do.
Lol.. Yes I can
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice Cop car!
Steering wheel is lame

They literally have the same transmission.

GM and Ford had a joint partnership on that 10 Speed transmission. They use that same transmissions in both Ford and GM vehicles.
My expedition stealth needs the transmission fixed at 57k miles. The hatch needed fixed twice, 3 different keypads, outlet in 2nd row stopped working. The list goes on....
GM and Ford created that 10 speed transmission as a joint effort. Which transmission are you referring to?
