Interesting to note is that envenom has double scaling. It scales with the number of DP stacks consumed, as well as with the number of CP used. The scaling happens separately though... The DPs determine the base damage and the CPs determine the AP scaling:
dmg = 215*DP + AP*0.09*CP
I've got about 3300 AP, so to me each combo point is worth about 300 damage, while each DP stack is worth 215 damage. As you get more and more AP, the value of combo points goes up, but the value of your poison stacks does not. This is something you could consider when using envenom. If you're about to get energy-capped, have full cp on target, got rupture up and kidney on cd, but have very little DP stacks, just use envenom. The envenom will do near max damage anyway and you will be able to utilize its buff to stack up your DP.

hey dude, solid content just wanted to point out that quick recovery only refunds energy on *FINISHING* moves. Sadly you do not get energy back on Mutilate misses. All in all though the spec looks very solid, and I agree with a lot of your talent choices especially the breakdown between the situations that find weakness and deadened nerves fit into. keep up the great work and I hope you have been enjoying your wotlk grind!

Also the other thing I forgot to mention was in the sub section of your tree have you messed around with moving 1 point from setup into camouflage that way you have stealth cd matching combat drop time so you can get easier cheapshot goes throughout the game. Just an idea play around with it and let me know what you think.

Missing mutilate always refunds 80% of the energy anyway, as does missing any cp-generator except ghostly strike.

Is it not worth it to max out Find Weakness for 6% more ability damage instead of 40% extra Off-hand damage? I don’t know the math but my guess is that 6% extra damage on all abilities is > 40% more offhand damage. And then you’d have one extra point to float around somewhere else.

Just came back to wotlk classic after playing back when it was first released, like probably many of us.
Going for the Mutliate Rogue fantasy for my 70 boost, so this video was great on selling it to me. You seem to really get what people want to experience while playing the spec.

I am an avg player and really tried sub in arena, just wasn't good at it. I switched to mut and me and my partner are on a roll in arena. My 2's partner is a prot warrior, it's an odd comp ,but lots of fun and some how works. Love the videos.

The +10 energy is a dead point. You’ll never cap, ever. Placing that point into a 3rd point of dagger crit in the combat tree is far better.
