Agree. I bought a second hand ns 200 2012 model in 2017(30k kms) and had to change clutch plates but now at 98k kms, I still haven't changed the clutch plates.
it has started to show age no doubt. there are broken bearings in engine, so rattling noises now and then. since I do not push it hard and drive at normal speeds and sometimes 80+ while on long trips, I face no issues. mileage is still above 35 in city. Overall still good considering I have it for 6+ years(used) haha@@RI-Boruto

I use to do all the things you mentioned not to do to save clutch plate in my RX135, like instant clutch release in 1st gear to pop wheelie , up and down shifting gears without clutch while on call with anyone,trying to move bike in 2nd or 3rd gear halfclutched because i was too lazy to shift to 1st gear to move it and also thinking 1st gear consumes more fuel than other,and also when i see a down road i had habit of holding clutch in top gear and turn ignition off without taking risk to put it to neutral and mess up the current speed to save petrol. My bike had no free play in clutch everytime it got free i used to tighten it a bit and also i kept my idling very low so that when ever i grab clutch bike should turn off automatically without touching key to turn off.But still my clutch plates were so reliable for 2 or more years.
clutch less shifting when the gearbox is momentarily disengaged is quite different from rev matching while downshifting. Clutch less shifting, when done properly, is completely safe for your clutch in any sequential gearbox, not just bikes. The problem is, you have only a small window, probably less than a second, to do it and the timing has to be just right to catch the transmission during its unloading as you ease on the throttle. Most people dont take the effort to learn it. And neither should they. Its just a novelty for people who understand how it works. But lets not blame that for clutch wear. with enough practice, I was able to do it consistently on my RC 390. A notoriously grabby clutch connecting a light alloy wheel to a near weightless crank. Worst case scenario to do it on, but still possible. Something like my Honda shine has a huge margin of error for clutchless shifting. you can get away with a lot there, without damaging the plates

Broo I'll correct you in last point you mentioned about clutch gap .....that gap will be enough to disengage the power from engine to gear ...so giving throttling is not a problem but when you suddenly release the clutch it will go and mesh with rotating flywheel that can cause damage ..
Clutch plates, break pads, chain, sprockets, and more are consumables and are meant to be changed. And compared to a German or high end Japanese car motorcycle maintenance costs peanuts. Have Fun with your motorcycle and be safe. Don’t worry about consumables which have to be replaced anyhow.
I think you missed another point that sudden downshifting at higher speeds for which the gear isn't designed to move may also damage or overheat the clutch since it's not designed to move at those speeds. I'm not sure if this point is true for slipper clutch.

I never stand my bike on gear even if its in traffic. No half clutch riding too. N m using synthetic oil as well. There is enought free play in my clutch bt i had to change my clutch plate after riding 12k km. I am nt making mistakes u mention as well. Dnt my what the prob i hav in my bike
I havs a Pulsar 125, 2 years 15,000kms, 5services done (all at Bajaj service, 7months interval, Under my supervision), I have taken care of this bike like a baby. I'm aware of all the good and bad habits for the bike. Recently i have started to feel the Pickup is getting lower and lower. Visited service center, guy said, you've burned your clutch plate, another technician says you've not burned it completely but have weak plates. Got it checked from an local mechanic, he says your bike is working fine. But i feel something is off, it doesn't ride the same as earlier. I ride my bike mileage centric slow cruising 40-50kmph usually, i do not rest my fingers on clutch lever, i do not run bike on half clutch. I don't get it how could the plates be burned or be weakned just by 15000 even after taking soo much care. In the service center visit, i got my Spark plugs checked, i got the air filter cleaned, No update available for the ecu. Do i need to check something else? Am i missing something?

My Father's TVS Centra 2004 aged 19 years. Clutch,engine everything perfect. Only changed front n rear tire , Chains and rear suspension.

It's very easy. For upshift release accelerator and quickly shift up. For downshift give sudden jerk to accelerator and shift down.

there is no need to clutch in 3456 gears, Up-Down shifts are fun with rev matching.
