The wierdest thing on the Bombadier is, that none of the offical Variants have the double gun on the head. (Only 1 AMS or 1 Small Laser)

Sweet my 4 favorite mechs got a smash 😊. Marauder, Warhammer, King Crab and my beloved Goshawk. Dueling an assault in a medium mech is a thrill XD.

EDIT: Just looked it up. Xotl Rats doesn't list them as particularly available for Clan Invasion so that's how they slipped through the cracks. RIP

Little story about the Ostsol. Was playing at a game fair many many years ago. Was a defensive fight inner sphere (us) vs. Clan invaders (dudes who set up the encounter). Mind you this was when the clans were first introduced for the table top game and ALL the "Unseen" mechs were still in use. I was running an Ostsol the encounter took place on and around a dormant volcano. The dudes did an awesome job constructing a 3D map. If I remember the volcano it self was 10 or 12 levels high. Anyway I found myself one on one against an Mad Dog (aka. Vulture). Nice thing about the Ostsol, or all the Ost line, is that all their weaponry is in the torso, making them very durable. We met about midway up the volcano and proceeded to pound the stuffing out of each other. The Mad Dog got the first serious blow in and took off a leg. This meant every time I got hit I pretty much fell. Fortunately for me I pretty much always fell towards the up hill slope. Less damage from falling easier to get up (we rolled randomly for our pilot skills, mine was actually a veteran pilot. I think I was a 4 gunnery but like a 2 piloting). I managed to get s good grouping with my 2 large lasers and three of my 4 med. lasers all to one of the side torso hitting the LRM ammo and removing that side. We ended up taking each other out, him kicking my other leg off and damaging my gyros with some crits, and me getting a third engine shot to the center torso. One of the best battles I ever had playing.
7:41 Hey there's versions of the Shadowhawk that perform mind you they're usually serious reworks that involve replacing the AC-5 with literally anything else.
The Shadow Hawk really came into its own with Com Star upgrade. Ultra AC/5, LRM 15 w/Artimis IV and 2 ER Med Lasers and C3, endo-steel and XL reactor.
Passed on Lancelot, Griffin and Awesom. Starslayer didnt even appeared 😢

Jenner looks unique and is an absolute beast of a light mech on the tabletop. One of the best lights in the game IMO.

The designs imported from the Macross franchise had a pretty decent “smash” rate.
All the Unseen did actually (don't forget the Goliath & the Griffin that came from Anime that didn't make it across the pond for decades were included in that purchase)

My takeaway from watching this is that it's really disconcerting to hear BattleMechs being consistently gendered male because I read them as female

Honestly if they hadn't come through Rasalhague we would have just sat by and watched the Great Houses burn to the ground. (Rasalhague Republic was going to be out chance the "go legit" as they are definitely more of a Periphery nation than a Spheroid one). Totally blame ConStar's attempt to play both sides for that one. Ok,ok we blame them for everything actually, it's why we declined to follow our SLDF comrades to Terra after the Exodus and kept our Chess Match in the Periphery.

/Rant ON She passed on a Wolfhound because of the head (yet she liked the Panther, the mech the Wolfhound owns 90% of the time)? What about the art from 4th Succession War pack? *Resists the urge to rage* Serious, PASS on subscribing... /Rant OFF pax rage aside, that was hilarious PAINFUL to listen too because many of those designs perform *well* on the paper battlefield (Its hard to judge video games because standards are not kept in terms of speed, how fire power is visualized, etc.)... But (BUT) If both of you and the chat enjoyed the thought exercise, I'll let this slide this time... :D
