Your comment resonates hard sir. My parents couldn't afford them either. I made my own versions out of cardboard, paper, tape and glue. It sounds sad, but looking back not having things on demand made me a better human and appreciative of the pieces I now have as an adult collector. 🙏🏾
This is so inspiring for me to read. I’m 19 and am kinda sad I can’t proudly say I was there from the beginning of the Transformers. I first learned about them from the Michael Bay movies and was deeply fascinated. But I want to be a true fan so I’m going back to the beginning by watching the G1 series. I will make sure Transformers will be a part of my children’s childhood- the legacy will live on! Till all are one! 😄🙌🏼
@Ryu Ryu That’s awesome you’ve been collecting and that you can relate to me, Ryu! I want to collect Transformers items but I don’t even know where to begin! Just thinking about bidding for an auction item is nerve racking! Is there something you’ve gotten so far that you’re really proud of?
What an involved transformation process. Imagine doing it without an instruction manual. Anyways, I'm amazed by the engineering on this toy. They managed to give a robot two alt modes without making it look dogshit. Props to the designer.
I had an ASTRO train when I was a kid, but geez this one bigger, different, and never that many moves to transform. Time sure does fly and modernized the good old days and still keep the theme of it.
0:20 into the video and that is already a really cool looking train. 2:05 ...and now we have a space shuttle. Not bad. 4:55 ...Now he is a robot. That is an impressive Astrotrain.
The engineering on this is incredible... I would never have imagine all purple parts of the train mode would complete be hidden for the shuttle mode... and then robot mode!! *mind blown*
Wash the fresh lemons and cut them in half into slices. Because the green part of the lemon peel contains essential oils. Inject 250~300ml of warm water at 40~50℃. Stir evenly with a spoon. If you are afraid of acid, add some honey. Drink it at last.
Man it would’ve been so badass to see this brought to life in the live action Transformers movies. Loved trains ever since I was child so seeing a Transformer train on the big screen would of had me cream my pants 😂
I love this figure so goddamn much! Looks absolutely stunning in all three modes and the transformation is relatively intuitive for a triple changer. Roadking and Quietus T always were tied as my favorites in my collection but this figure blows them out of the water in my opinion. Happy to have him on my shelf. Oh and the video is almost as good as Thomas. Very crisp and clean and I love the music. Thanks for your work!
Okay so I've watched a dozen different Astrotrain videos on this version, and NONE of them got me thrilled for this product like this one. Thank you!!!
I grew up with transformers animated and transformers prime, so once I finally got a chance to watch the original series Astrotrain immediately struck me as one of the most unique and incredible transformers. And this toy is absolutely magnificent.
Okay, I've mustered up the nerve to transform this guy. Then maybe I'll take a crack at Blurr and HotRod! Converting these figures can be a nerve-wracking experience.
The details is amazing. How every flaps and tabs fit in perfectly. Wow. Love it. And love these videos for showcasing clearly all the intricate steps for transformation and also a bit of play. hehe
I seriously love these highly detailed Transformers figures! This is exactly how modern Transformers series should look like! That and the ones from the two Cybertron games! Not those piles of scrap metal shit that was made by Michael Bay.
Me gustan tus vídeos, antes en los 80s eran más fáciles transformarlo, ahora lo veo un poco complicado estar transformndolo. Pero igual me gusta los diseños de ahora. Saludos
Masterpiece toys be like: so you swing this rod out from what's going to be the robot's wrist. Then you'll need to fold the rod assembly along the contours of the arms, making sure that the unpainted metal side is flush against the arm. You need to line up these twelve joints with the armpit or you will start to see stress marks on the armature. Anyways you'll notice that the rod is actually twice as long as the legs, that's because you're meant to fold it in half at the ankles and the armature will travel back up along the leg. You may need to use a tool to push the whole assembly into the legs, as well as for removing it. Once that's done the last bit of that rod slots into the side of the body, and you can fold the panel at the end of the armature into the gap between the wing and the body; and I just think it's very neat that they thought about that. The two millimeter gap between the wings and the body used to always bug me on the original toy. And then mirror that for the other side.
Quite cleanest Astrotrain I've seen. So little kibble.

Its crazy to think those who grew through the G1 years are now mostly in their late 30's early 40's, watch these videos and feel like kids again

Ahh.... The good days.

I both love and hate these videos. 36 years old. Where were these when I was a kid.
Agreed. But now we actually can afford some of these models. No more begging with parents to buy this for us🤣🤣🤣
The thought that has gone into this design is fantastic. Really brings the G1 days back to life 👌
Okay, THIS is one hell of screen accurate toy.
