Only just watched your video about French patterns for Spring and Summer it was so good. Hope you find time to make a Autumn and Winter one net please. Well done . A grateful viewer.☀️☀️☀️
What a great vlog, loved the format, I agree with you with regards to Sezane designs they are really so elegant, Very informative and really enjoyed. Thanks for taking the time to share
What a great podcast! A real pleasure to discover your beautiful selection of patterns;) I can't wait to see the final result, I'm sure they will all fit you perfectly : you already have a very elegant attitude in the way you express yourself , so I think this style is made for you ;) thanks for sharing your inspiration!
Thank you, beautiful style inspiration. I love a shirt dress too, and blouses as well, cool weather for us in New South Wales - but separates are perfect. I will be making the honey blouse and the Atelier Jupe shirt dress very soon. So glad to have found your channel, thanks again
I love your videos, particularly the ones where you show patterns that can mimic high-end ready-to-wear. It would be wonderful if you could show more of the ones that you have made, it makes a world of difference thanks again.
I love these kind of videos, thanks for doing this. I follow Sezane on all platforms and love their clothes, aren't we lucky being dressmakers that we can make our own version of their fantastic styles.
Thank you Cara loved this vlog is full of inspiration. French clothing is always very tres chic. I had heard of Sezane but never looked on their website off down a rabbit hole now 😂🥰
Thank you for all the inspiration, and telling us about the Sezane web page. I am in Australia we are heading into the cooler months but a lot of the patterns will be ok for the cooler months ahead. Thank you again just love your videos.
Hi Polly, ah I'm so glad you found something you like, there are so many beautiful patterns to choose from. Thank you so much for buying me a Ko-fi, that's very kind of you and much appreciated x
I love this sort of video, I get so many ideas! I can’t wait to see what you make for spring, really looking forward to your creations. I’m starting a new job in a few weeks and I’m formulating my plans to sew some new, fresh, spring items. I’m very drawn to feminine blouses and some woven tees with interesting seams, like the Block tee from Paper Theory. I also need a couple skirts and trousers. And dresses! Aren’t we in a wonderful place in sewing history? With all the new indie pattern companies and the fabric available to us? Not to mention the expert RUclipsr seamstresses giving us detailed techniques to help. Thanks! Take care!
That is a very elegant🎉 line-up. The first blouse and last dress were my favorites. I think fabric choice will play as strong a role in recreation as the pattern.
Beautiful video as usual Cara. Really appreciate the time you’ve taken and the details you’ve shared. Calming and inspiring all at the same time, thanks you, Susan x
Wonderful wrap up, Cara! Thank you. If you're looking for a knit, square neck top, may I recommend the Brigit by Pattern Scout. I made one last week and will be making more. The pattern has cup sizes, too!
I really enjoyed your video on sewing "the French look!" You were spot on in selecting patterns that reflected the Sezane garments! Look forward to more of these types of videos!
Thanks for posting this video! I also really appreciate what is known as "French girl style". I find the Sezane website very frustrating because similar to Zara, their models are posed in such a way as to make it very difficult to sometimes actually see the garment and all it's features! It didn't really occur to me to see if they would have different views on their Instagram. Will definitely take a look at the pattern companies you mentioned as well.
Fantastic video! Lots of sewing inspo - I’m looking at my Spring Summer 23 plans! Loved the choices and really appreciate the hard work involved in pulling this together. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for mentioning the 3 French pattern companies.... I had never heard of any of them and particularly love the Anna Rose patterns some of the different details of their patterns are gorgeous and a little bit unusual 😍 x
Cara, I loved this video. Thank you for introducing the designer Sézane to us. The first green blouse and the shirt dress were my favourites. I’m looking forward to seeing what you make this coming season.🙌🏾🥰
Wow, I absolutely love the styling on the Sezane website and thanks so much for doing the work matching patterns. I will definitely be making some of these. Mind whirring now as to which ones and which fabrics from the stash! If you had the time over the next few months it would be great to see a sew a sew along or part sew along showing what looks you made. Thanks again. X
Thanks so much for a brilliant video Cara. I loved the thought you'd put into this and the choices and ideas are very inspirational. I was in any event thinking if making a couple if coordinated things next month and this has given me some really good creative ideas. 😊
Great choices! If anyone is looking for Sezane's chore jacket, the Tempo from Atelier Scammit has a view that's perfect! I'm definitely planning to make that one.
Hi Cara, some great inspiration there and I'm a big fan of the French styles too 👌. I'm just off to catch up with the French company that you mentioned 🙏. Such an interesting video Cara.. thanks so much 💖😁😘
Interesting - I’ve never heard of Sezane but I really like some of the patterns you’ve found from their inspiration. Love the blouse with the double collar/facing!
Hi Cara, I really enjoyed this fantastic video! You found great patterns that capture the Sezane French style very well. I plan to sew the Love Notions Patterns Terra Tunic boat neck with buttons on the shoulders. My Breton style fabric is aqua/white stripes with slices of lemons and oranges on it. I think it will be a fun top for spring and summer. I'm looking forward to seeing your French style makes!
Love this Kara, everything is just inspiring and what a brilliant selection 🤩 I am just over stimulated now with all those gorgeous choices!! I may need to watch it again with a notebook but I do want to try a shirt/blouse and have now that embroidery in my head and the Honey blouse could be a perfect fit. I look forward to seeing your next inspiration vlog and thanks for all that work that goes into making these xx
Thank you so much for making this video! Your presentation is so clear and organized, and your choices so easy to follow! I am new to this--I'm excited and a bit overwhelmed and some of these patterns are probably beyond me as yet, but I aspire to your level of expertise! The idea of being able to assume myself capable of these patterns is quite exciting! A suggestion-- would you consider mentioning whether you think the patterns are more friendly for relatively new sewists? Please keep these ideas coming!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video Cara and I do buy from this company, particularly the Knitwear.I have just received the catalogue from Poetry and I really like their clothes ,beautiful relaxed styles in linen and silks mainly.l was thinking as I looked through the catalogue what patterns might I use to sew the Poetry style myself.
