I loved him on the play! King George is so bratty and it's like he WANTS the other characters to laugh. Like in "The Adams Administration" After his song, he just sits there while Leslie sings and does a little dance and you can visibly see Leslie trying not to laugh and it's amazing.
Check the "Homecoming" intro walk...Queen Bey definitely did follow through. She definitely snazzed it up; but, it's still the same essence. LOL
