Thank you so much - I can’t tell you how many fancy crochet joins I’ve tried and been so disappointed with all of them. I am doing your fruit garden blanket at the moment and you are teaching me so much - thank you!
Not only are you gifted in designing but you're an excellent teacher. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming fruit garden CAL. So happy and thankful that you've decided to have a second run🌼
Wow another amazing video. I wish I had found your page years ago. I now can join all my squares for the blankets I have sitting and waiting with a beautiful clean join. thank you again!
This is brilliant Janie - thanks. Wish I had been able to watch it before I bodged my joining on the blanket. But it was good enough for a first attempt.
Thank you, Janie! I’ve been confused about the idea of joining multiple motifs vertically and then going back to join horizontally. You made it crystal clear!
Thank you for this - I am about to tackle this part of the project & I was going to just give into a panic attack & then I thought ‘I’m sure our Jane has a tut on this part’ thank you 😏
Hi , I’m at the point where I need to join my central pieces together ( part 5) and up until now the instructions were to join the sides in a strip and now that I have finished part 5, the photos show to join them like a cross in the middle. Am I to follow the instructions as written or join vertical/ horizontal as show here instead (with the appropriate squares of course)?, I’m thinking it’s easier to do them horizontally/vertically as shown here. The instructions also suggested moving up to a size 4 hook to join ( I’m using recipe 2). Thanks for any help!
You work is original. Your choice of wool colors are diverse, challenging, and fasinating! Wool quality is what makes the piece exceptional! Combination of colours, wool and choice of pattern of each motif put together takes it to a higher level and makes it art! If l may suggest, you would need to teach in perhaps as in a studio type surround...this is not homy crochet, this needs taking to a professional level; specialized work. There is advancement looking into the field of fashion...couture.
I love the fact that it is so homey. I’d never have dared to attempt anything so ambitious if she didn’t make it look so easy and do-able by inexperienced crocheters. It like having a friendly tutor by your side in your own home, including a buzzing fly. So reassuring and relaxing.

👌😘🌹🌹😍😍
UGH..., IT REALLY MESSES WITH ME TO HEAR YOU SAY "DOUBLE CROCHET" AND WATCH YOU DO A "SINGLE CROCHET"
Yea, its English terms, i feel the same when following us terms, but you get used to it. Hope your blanket turns out ok ❤️
