Nice round Daren! Having played both the courses at FC many times over the last few years I think the Classic course definitely offers more of a challenge but I always seem to play the Legacy course better 😆
Classic has more character and the course changes depending on the tee we play. Legacy is nice too but some of the holes looked the same , almost identical
That putt you had off the green on number 5 - tough shot. If I’m playing at home in the UK it’s a putt all day long! But when I’m back in Singapore (or Asia for any matter) I would do a 60 deg flop if I’m really confident or just a 60 deg bump and run and accept a 10 footer putt coming back… or a 3 wood chip if my imagination runs wild 😂
Awesome round Daren. Have been looking forward to this video for a long time. Amazing to see how you navigate around this course with the distance you have. You say you found the secret, what is it? Haha! Btw,10:46 pylon.
Thank you for watching. Do not worry, we are professionals and taking care of the course is in our blood and nature. You look at the course and the course will look after you
For your 3rd shot on the 5th hole, the funky lie makes it difficult to get solid contact if you use a putter. The bellied/Texas wedge will be a challenge because it’s uphill and you would have problem with distance control. If you hit it really hard you run the risks of not making solid contact and leaving it short like you did with your putter Best strategy is to use a 3/5 wood to putt the ball up to the hole. With the fairway wood, you can use a simple putting stroke which will give it enough momentum to get the ball over the uphill slope and roll up to the hole. Doesn’t necessarily need to have clean or good contact.

Good shot tracers, good club and yardage graphics. Good editing and narration, I also come across the top !! Solid 8 here!!

those are excellent suggestions! I think it boils down to how confident you are with your shot/club selection.
Nice round of golf.
Hey Pro, you should have played the black tee la...😊
Will do that the next day one! Great to have you watching
Good stuff.
Glad you enjoyed it

Glad you enjoyed it brother. The secret is to play a short course and learn how to shoot under first using your shorter irons
Liked and subscribed! Betcha don’t remember me from yesterday though!
Hi David, If my memory serves me correctly, I saw you hit some good bunker shots :)

Okay! I heard the course condition there has been disappointing lately

Thanks for the tip! Will give that a go when I’m faced with similar situation 🔥💪
Wat app do u use for the shot tracer?
shottracerapp.com
try d karambunai golf nanti pro darren..dpt main under par
Okay hopefully I will have the opportunity to play it
Hole 5 green side, I would have used a 50° Gap Wedge
I would putt it with my hybrid between the rough and the fairway of hole 5.
Excellent! Ill heed your suggestion the next time I face a similar lie. Thanks!
You make me nervous putting with that sand wedge Daren 😂 otherwise a great round of golf
working on a back up on the days the putter isnt working :) Thanks for watching!
@@DarenLimGolf great content Daren and I look forward to watching more and it has inspired me to play more golf courses in the Asia Pacific region

Yes looking forward too! lets arrange :)
Short holes on this course!!!
Yes 🙌
Sand wedge
Hole 4 looked like a double bogey
If can putt, always putt it
Yes!!!
Who uses meters as a unit of measurement for golf holes? Odd.
Every ctry except the UK, US and some other metrically challenged ctries?

I had a great game here but then I exploded the next day playing at Horizon😅😢
Horizon is a difficult track.
@@DarenLimGolf tell me about it. Very mental and good course management to conquer the course
