i needed this tutorial weeks ago, lol, i bought this along with the arachnid wheel cover that i watched in your channel, and Ranger code works that time too, thanks so much!
Great review, thank you. I agree with you - the color is off (that would bother me) and the slide mechanism seems "ify" and not smooth. This would be a "no" for me.
Great video good solution to problem with have a glass roof in 2019 I got the roof tinted and that saved a problem as in 2019 there was no roof shades available I wish a manufacturer made it motorised with a remote that would be cool
Thanks. Tinting is an option. Though I have heard some people having issues with the rear glass. Tesla really should have a solution like this from the factory.
Can you test driving ~70mph with the windows down and see it hurts or moves them? I like to roll down my windows, and I would retract them and then roll my windows down.
I tested with windows open at high speed (see above post). Around city with no music, you can hear a tiny rattle sound when it is closed on rough pavement from the front shade. Nothing from the rear.

Appreciate this video, helpful info for when mine arrived with no instructions

I believe the shade is made of paper which would lead me to wonder how long it would last. It's also pricey.
I might get it. What year is your car? How long did it take for it to ship?
Mine is a 2018 LR RWD. Mine was air shipped for review. I’m not sure if they are in stock in the US yet. If they are, then probably a 3-5 days.

Good idea. I'll let you know.
OK, perfect timing, I just had to take a drive on the highway and tested with one window down and all windows down. No movement or issues at all.
@@MTNRanger Awesome, thank you!
any noise or rattle while driving on street and freeway?

I'm not feeling this one.
Not needed at all, or just a different design?
