There were so many special aspects to this traditional wedding and I found myself getting emotional and teary eyed. It was fun watching the older men get down and dance so enthusiastically and of course seeing all the women in their beautiful Kitenge dresses was awesome. I like the tradition of slipping the bride money while shaking hands. Please especially thank Koree's brother for allowing us a glimpse into the private matters concerning a Kalenjin wedding. I wish him and his beautiful bride a long and happy life together.

What a wonderful window into the ins and outs of a traditional Kenyan wedding…. The exchange of gifts between the bride and groom without vows being said, the negotiation of the elders, the exchanging of gifts between the elders, the bride feeding their guests the wedding cake, the dancing and singing and the list goes on…. I am amazed that there is so much colour and charismatic collaboration between everyone. A video to remember for sure. You and Koree both looked awesome in your co-ordinating outfits as well.
