Interesting. I just got mine in last week (white model) and there is no internal fan, and the ventilation slits are much smaller than yours. Obviously I'll add my own fan, but there is no cutout in the outer housing for it. I wonder why Reolink downgraded the more recent models.

Hello, tell me please, your NVR have inside installed a cooler and also having a ower ON/OFF button in the back? I got mine one week ago, and i noticed in the left side where should be a cooler is only the place for cooler, but no cooler inside, also this NVR don't have a power ON/OFF button. Can you tell me something about these 2 problems, please? As i noticed in your quick presentation video, you also missing he power button and cooler. Other then these, i am happy with this NVR, i have connected with this 2 Reolnk E1 Zoom Wi-Fi cameras and one Reolink Vide Doorbell Wi-Fi, and works perfect.

This specific model doesn’t have an ON/OFF button, only on the PoE models.
It also doesn’t have a fan which isn’t necessary as long as the NVR is placed in a well ventilated space but you could install a 40mm fan as exhaust if you wanted to.

I am confused. What is different about this then the POE camera system? The Poe camera system can connect to WiFi cameras as well.
Does this NVR not need to be directly connected to LAN?

Look up what POE stands for. It stands for 'Power-Over-Ethernet'. So the POE camera system provides the ability to power the devices over the ethernet cable, thus less cable clutter.

I have installed the device. However, I have the problem that the WiFi range is very poor. Maybe 10 meters to the cameras. I can only see 1 of 4 cameras. I have placed the NVR over the whole house but nothing happens. Do you have any tips for me? I have pay 700€ for this $hit

Add extenders or mesh setup to gain acess to the far cameras.

By the way, do you know, for example: if i have a non Reolink camera, i have a Boavision camera, can i connect this to Reolink NVR? I tried so far in both ways, onvif and IP and i didn't managed to add this camera to NVR, i am not an expert, maybe you can give me an advice, please? For now, i use that camera with a tablet permanent opened to can watch my car in parking.

I have the E1 zoom. It works, but it is giving me a hard time because it connects to the reolink wifi, not my own wifi. I want to see the camera on my phone, but it says it is disconnected. Hope this helps
