I think a lot more people need to see this video because there are so many myths regarding weight loss especially around the whole “cutting carbs and going on keto in order to lose weight” ideology!
I love your logic and the way you explain things also thanks for tdee page that was great. I wish you done more videos especially on coping with stress and essays or the workout vlogs I finally made it to the gym yesterday to do weights😁 I’m trying to study RN in Australia atm with kids your videos really motivate me.
Yay!! That first step always feels so good! I did a whole mental health VLOGmas in 2021 I think. Other than that, I think mental health is sprinkled through out my channel. Let me know if you have specific questions
@@drjennale thanks I might go back through and look I’m sure I probably missed some of the mental health ones. I guess my main question is how to tackle 3 essays due within 7 days of each other 😭 any tips would be great. This my first semester doing 3 units and I was hoping to go four next year but I don’t think its doable.
I personally set deadlines for myself to finish certain parts. If I don’t, I would definitely procrastinate and leave it till last mine because … Parkinson’s Law 😅
For those of us with a history of eating disorders, who are now ready to lose fat while maintaining or even gaining muscle, any tips? Is it really necessary to track calories every day? I'm worried that'll trigger me back into my BED.
@@drjennale niiiiice! I’ve never traveled outside of Texas, by plane.🤣😅Big chicken here. Enjoy road trips tho. So I love hearing about others adventures. That is exciting!!! Safe travels. Have fun!👍🥳❤️
What current apps are you using to track the calories you intake? Btw thank you for the inspiring and uplifting motivational videos, also your normal day in the life family vlogs are so wholesome too🤍
I use MyFitnessPal! It’s free and pretty easily to use. I would just say, don’t listen to their calorie recommendations because they’re SUPER low. I have a video on how to fix this on my TikTok
What’s the difference between caloric deficit and energy deficit? I’m 34 years old, 131 lbs, and 4’11” and I walk on my treadmill at least 3-4 times a week, does this mean my activity is moderate?
I would say that’s light exercise. A calorie it want you body uses for energy. Ultimately, taking in less that than you exert will enable you to lose weight
Dr Le, I’d like to ask you about different types of fat. I don’t understand why my weight doesn’t match my appearance. I am 5’4 but I weight 153, and physically I don’t appear to weigh that high. That’s weird to me.
Muscle weights more than fat. You may have more muscle and or great genetics that evenly distribute mass. I was around 145 too and no one ever believed me when I said I weighted that much for my size
Hi, Jenny. I really like your videos...they are always so insightful. Thank you for clarifying a lot of misconceptions about WL. :)
Needed to hear all this. Thanks Dr. Le!

Also, yes I agree! Weight loss is very simple. We make it complex & make too many excuses. Word.
Im about to tear up a bowl of BBH! Happy Sunday!
OMG I miss Vietnamese food so much. Going to Cali for spring break and I’m so excited!
