I’m struggling to understand what city John met the Strange Man. The first encounter was in New Austin, well outside the outskirts of Armadillo near the edge of a cliff over looking the San Luis River Near Hennigan’s Stead, the second is in the desert of the state of Nuevo Paraiso, and the third is on a hill overlooking Beecher’s Hope (John Marston’s ranch) in the state of West Elizabeth. So it’s not exactly mimicking Jesus’s encounters with Satan in the Bible

red harlow is mentioned in rdr2, so revolver is a tale, but a canon tale, so your playing as a storybook character in revolver
I don’t think he just shot her tho I believe because how it’s discussed that he may have shot her constantly or he made her suffer in some way before he shot her because Arthur says Dutch shot a woman “in a bad way”
The Strange Man in RDR1 mentions that Dutch shot her and her eye was hanging out by a tendon.

You mention the Eiffel Tower as something futuristic but it was built in 1889, meaning people then would’ve known about it, not just futuristic people

I have a theory: Sadie Adler is Red Harlow's daughter, Red after the end of Red Dead Revolver got together with a woman and immediately became Sadie, so Sadie in RDR2 is 18/19 years old, Sadie bears the surname Adler because she is married to Jake, but in reality his name is Sadie Harlow, then it is known that Sadie lived on a ranch in a very wild way with his father, therefore like Red, for the rest I think that Landon Ricketts is Red Harlow who after Red Dead Revolver had taken on a fake name because he was extremely sought after and had become a professional gunslinger.

I think the Strange Man might be the personification of Death that only John can see at the moment. I think the whole “I seem to know you” line might be referring to the amount of deaths John has caused. Just a thought, and not sure if it’s true.
1:30 this would be a cool theory if it weren’t for the fact that Rockstar San Diego devs said that Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Revolver aren’t in the same universe. Though the universe could be in a book written by Jack. Rockstar San Diego was previously Angel Studios which did most of the developing of Red Dead Revolver, until it was at a halt and Rockstar bought the company and paid to help finish the game. They aren’t the same universe, but that could mean that the universe is in a book.
The theory Jack went on to write Red Dead Revolver is stupid. You can find npc's that talk of the tale of Red everyone on youtube have covered this to death. MojoPlays late to the party yet again
I always thought that Jack was Dutch’s son. He’s always reading and talking about ideas which nobody else in the gang does except Dutch. Plus he kinda looks like him in RDR.
I always had a theory that Hamish Sinclair is perhaps either the grandfather, or even great-grandfather of Francis Sinclair.
Btw, if you read Arthur's journal, you'll find he mentions a man in Blackwater, who looks like Trelawney, but isn't. And when you go to Armadillo as John, and visit the general store, a picture of the Strange Man will be on the wall behind Herbert Moon, the clerk, and John will say the man in the photo looks familiar. Could it be perhaps that Trelawney and the Strange Man are perhaps one and the same?
And this is a theory that obviously has no weight to it, but just for the hell of it, I'm gonna share it anyway:
Do you remember the Witche's Calderon you can find in the north between Fort Mercer and Charlotte's cabin? Well, I've always thought if Rockstar wanted to go this direction, they could've had Arthur drink from it, while he was sick, and it could've cured him of his TB. I know it sounds ridiculous, but if you do have him drink from it, all you get is him blacking out and then waking up and the pot is gone. Almost like what the hell was it put in the game for in the first place, if that's all you get from drinking from it?
I like that idea, I’ll take any theory that keeps my boah alive.
The strange man is definitely Satan or at least a demon. I also always thought the blind man you encounter and can be kind to is similar, but benevolent. Like that song “What if God was One of Us”. He’s like an Angel, testing you.

Nigel and Gavin linked to time travelling Sinclair? That is a fun idea, and it makes Nigel's claims that Gavin was "lost" make more sense. Perhaps Gavin was sent back in time and Nigel went after him to where (when) he thought he was, of course unable to tell the real story to anyone. Naturally, this broke his mind from 1899 to 1907. By the way, you don't have to kill Nigel to get the letter. Just truss him up and loot him and let him go. He won't even hold a grudge later.
I always thought Nigel kind of snapped after Gavin was killed. I also definitely think they’re lovers, and that was the funny rumours flying around back home about them.
He’s blocked out the events of Gavin’s death, and searched for him aimlessly. I think Nigel is metaphorically the one who’s lost without Gavin. Without him, and unable to accept his loss, he just keeps repeating the same pattern of trying to find him, until eventually it drives him completely mad.

2:23 not only was she an innocent woman, but she was pregnant. Once I learned that, I have hated Dutch. At first I was like, “Damn, that’s messed up.” But then I found out she was pregnant when it happened and it just makes me angry that he not only killed Heidi, but also the baby. I don’t like Dutch, but I like his actor. He did a fantastic job and the story writers as well, fantastic job.

The weirdest thing about Francis Sinclair, is that that baby ISN'T a baby! With the help of mods, it's been found that the 'baby' is actually a doll! Why, or what this means, I have no idea, but it does explain why Francis's 'mother' isn't surprised by all those strange drawings on her wall!

What's selling both games the woman that got shot it really just seems like she just got in the way of a bullet it's the same reason it's extremely poor advice to try and stop an armed gunman with a gun because even police and military with all their training predict someone stepping wrong someone moving the last second and hitting the completely innocent person it happens literally all the time

When I first played RDR2 I thought Josiah Trelawny was the Strange Man because they dressed the same but the voices didn’t match up. But also what if the Strange man is a ghost from someone the gang killed in Black Water?
