Hi I notice the stop for the sidestand did you have to measure up for that or did it come as standard.

mark i need your help mate lol i've got a 06 speed fight 2 50 cc i've brought new kick start bush, new circlip, new pinion and new pinion spring i've put it all in made it tight and when i kick start the bike the pinion fly's out of the bit it sits in almost as if the half moon is over rotating do you know what this could be. would be really really appreciated if you could make a video on this issue. thanks Deane

Good video Mark nice Exhaust sounds nice without the baffle just put a new mtc exhaust on my tiger 1050 love it but a bit to loud without baffle but nice with it in take care bud keep the videos coming 👍

Good exhausts. Went for the 300mm oval as the 230 mm and 200mm make the bike run rich and are a bit too loud. Can always remove the baffles if you want even more volume. Good video mate 👍🏻
thanks bud , i like loud exhausts as they has saved my life many times but as getting older sometimes its nice to have a little less noise lol, take care bud
Ayo mark got a question is it ok if i mix 10ml/1L gas for peugeot speedfight 2 it has no setup just sport exaust
its always a bit of a guessing game bud i used to put to cap fills in go a fill up as they run on a bit of a pray any way lol
stick to what the info on the bottle says but i find it just blacks up the plug !!!

Hi Mark, i just bought a speedfight 2 2006 LC and the variator doesnt seem to have a washer but a big plate on back of the front variator. Is the plate the restrictor?
That can come off bud , its the one that has 3 screws holding it on to the rear of the variator

Hi Mark. Just wondering if you know anything about 4 stroke mopeds. Mines a 50 and kept cutting out when I got to traffic lights and junctions, if got it home and checked the air filter, fuel filter, valve clearances, oil, iv changed the idle and when I turn the idle tighter it revves higher to the point the wheels going on it's own. And there is no inbetween. Any chance you could help?
I have a few videos on 4t mopeds on my channel they should help , but age of ped , e10 or e5 fuel , have you had it sitting with e10 in it ?

@@marksavage hi it's a 2020 sym mask, since I bought it I have always put e5 fuel but I'm not sure what the previous owner was using.

I have the Gen 2, I've heard there's some issues regarding fitment and centre stand?
I can't see why there would be fitting problems but if worried contact them as they are really helpful

@@marksavage Well, they got back to me from Black Widow. And said that the systems wouldn't fit my bike, Zzr 1400 (13) with a centre stand. Do they not have a bump stop I guess.

URGENT HELP NEEDED.
Hi Mark,
So i have had this Peugot Speedfight 2 100cc for a while now, it was in poor condition and needed a new bendix, spark plug and the stator magnet was cleaned. After a few changes the bike started working and running well. However, the starting was inconsistent and the sound was very loud.
After about 2 months of use, i was on a long drive on a hot day and the bike started having issues. I was doing 55-60 down on the motorway and when i got to a set of lights, the bike was struggling to get going again. It then cut out and wouldnt start, so i left it for 10 minutes and it started up again to get me home.
From this day, i could definitely notice a lack of power when idling at any lights or just when stopped, i didnt take this as a big issue as i would just open up the throttle to maintain the revs. Anyway i go holiday for 16 days and when i come back there was an issue with the bike where it would start backfiring when i was driving and only seemed to get more frequent. The smell of fuel/oil was very strong while i was driving too.
After about a week of this issue, the bike stopped working full stop and would start for a few seconds and cut out again. After examining the spark plug it was black and oily, as well as this there seems to be a lot of carbon all around the outside of the engine and where the exhaust meets the motor.
I have done the following changes to try to improve the situation,
- Replaced the piston + rings
- Replaced the gaskets
- Replaced automatic choke with a manual choke
- Adjusted and cleaned the carb
Here is another list of things i have changed since it was standing,
- New Spark Plug (BR8ES)
- New Bendix
- New air filter (Parlini)
- Cleaned the rust of stator magnet
- Replaced all crank case housing bolts
- Replaced Battery
- New rollers
- Replaced the wool in the exhaust
The bike has been out of action for around a month and with the new gaskets the sound has gotten quiet but the bike cant go up the road without spluttering and popping until it stops, this issue is really getting me down.
I am only 19 and would appreciate any help that i can get and can provide lots more details if needed.
