Thank you so much for talking about lean pcos. I've been pcos all my life and have been very skinny all my life. I always research about pcos and I wonder wether keto diet and intermittent fasting applies to us or not?
Moderate carbohydrates. Keto probably not needed if you are slender....but probably doesn’t hurt.
This is the most useful video on the topic o have seen on your tube thank you
Am so grateful to you DR RORPOPOR HERBAL on RUclips, for curing my PCOS sickness within 14days, with your natural supplement ...........🌿🌿🌿
I’m so thankful for this video. I was just diagnosed at 23 and was so confused when the doctor asked me if I gain weight too easy considering I’ve always had a hard time gaining weight/maintaining food intake/ working out too much. Before being diagnosed I was having serious blood sugar crashes and I started breaking out after having clear skin my whole life. I haven’t got much information from any doctors :/
C Hill it is a very confusing condition! I’m glad you found it helpful. Have your doctors watch it, too!
I had one natural period at age 12 and never again throughout my adolescence. I was put on the pill to stimulate my cycles and have been on them now for nearly 10 years. I'm not ready to conceive but I'd like to take a break from the standardized therapy and explore my options. I hate exercise, I've never loved to run, so maybe I stray from the typical "thin" pcos patient, but I'll give diet and exercise a try. Thank you for uploading this information. I saw one very good pediatric endocrinologist as a teenager but have since been disappointed by the insight and education my GYNs and family doctors have been able to offer me.
Marisa I would opine that you do not yet have a diagnosis. Get a proper full evaluation....then decide upon treatments!
@@MissouriFertility I never considered I might be misdiagnosed, thanks!
Marisa you need a few hormone tests and a vaginal sonogram. You will need to be off the oral contraceptives for at least two weeks before the blood tests. Make sure they draw an AMH with the other hormones. Good luck!
Great video. Although I would like to avoid IVF, of course it gives so many hopes but I would prefer to treat lean pcos through nutrition at first. A video with meal ideas would be very helpful!!
Great idea! Thanks.
OMG this is sooo me, i've been watching all videos about pcos on youtube but none of them explain about lean pcos. I've followed their tips which is low carbs, gluten free, i eat protein and healthy fats for breakfast, stop eating junk/processed foods, eating green vegetables, fruit and almost all the stuff they suggest yet my period still won't come. The last time i got it was august.
thank you for the kind words! So few "big name" doctors truly understand this issue. Remember: the term "healthy fats" is really over played. Except for synthetic and heat-damaged fats....they are ALL healthy! You might enjoy my more recent video as well: ruclips.net/video/IZEeDErFICc/видео.html
By healthy fat i mean Avocado. Is it right/good for me?
Vanclaudel Ko just had one now! Just remember, animal fats are healthy too!
You have low testosterone then, you may need to increase these levels. Take an OGTT test and check your AMH levels.
@@MO-ss5mj well i kinda think the same but, i got body hair on several places that i'm ashamed of, i'm confused what is actually wrong with me. My grandma, mom and some of her siblings suffer from diabetes.
I have lean pcos .. my weight 49 only... my periods is irregular.. wat should I do now... I want to gain weight but in pcos I can't eat junk food and sugar ... omg... plz guide me..
Hi , my

Diagnosed with pcod

I do yoga daily 40 mins a day.
My diet intake is normal.i don't eat white flour or any unhealthy food i only eat healthy food but my weight not increase at all .

Other thing is either my weight will increase or it will remain same throughout my life? Suggest me something doctor.. what should i do plz ..
It’s hard to say without meeting you. I also should not give individual advice over the internet. I suspect you will always have high testosterone.
I am wondering what makes a lean PCOSer could not get pregnant even with regular menses and positive ovulation test?
n. musa SO MANY other causes of infertility! A full evaluation is required...of both partners.
@@MissouriFertility yup..both of us have been tested and come out everything is fine except of the polycystic features of both my ovaries..will be doing some blood test again with a new gynae..fingers cross for the next treatment!
I'm so confused . I'm so thin . Do I have lean pcos . And what should I do to cure my lean pcos?
Bushra Kousar you need a proper evaluation and diagnosis. There is no “cure”.... but there is effective management!
@@MissouriFertility thanks alot for your reply sir , we can afford a diagnosis . But I'm watching some RUclips videos . And from today , I've changed my diet , and my routine . Will this be helpful ?
Bushra Kousar time will tell! Good luck!! All the best!!!
@@zoyazest9952 did your problem got solved by changing lifestyle and change in routine
Hi sir I have regular periods and docter told I have pcos by ultrasound. Even having regular periods is this difficult to get pregnant? I have normal weight. But AMH value is 8.
Thankyou for the video.. Wanna ask you a question. Can a person with lean pcos eat 6 eggs a day without yolk? Actually i am going Gym these days and trainer advised me to have eggs for muscle development.. Now, i am facing more facial hair problems than before.. Is that because of having eggs or something else?? Too much stressed
Why waste the yolk? Eat the whole egg! Don’t force an extreme amount of any food type.
I have PCOD (small cysts in both ovaries) I am becoming thin day by day , Dr can you please suggest me what should I take in diet to gain weight and as well as I can cure pcod with the diet?? Please make a video on this I am requesting you for lean pcod how to gain weight and exercise and all please 🙏
I have pcos even if im thin and i have regular menstruation. I have a problem conceiving. My doctor prescribed ova-mit im in my 3rd cycle..im feeling so desperate. Please help me how and what to do
Apple Concepcion I assume you and your male partner have been fully evaluated for other problems as well?
Me too girl!! I have the same situation my menstration cycle is normal but I’m underweight like badly.
Are you conceived or not
Sir i have lean pcos too i m 21 years old.. i m very skinny right now , i dont know how to gain weight, because i m afraid because with this much less weight may exercise could affect my body in wrong way, and if i exercise then how to maintain a healthy diet like i have to focus on which carbs or proteins or fats.?
kirti it is frequently difficult to hit the “sweet spot”. Exercise is important....even for you. May just need to eat more, if you can!
@@MissouriFertility sir i already ate a lot.. i ate a lot more than my all friends.. and i cant afford to miss a meal, if i do then i feel very bad hunger like uncontrolable type.
@@MissouriFertility and sir last time i had so much pain during intercourse and i saw some light redish thing its not the virginity blood, i dont know about pain what its called abdomen or pelvic pain.. sir do u have any idea about that
kirti you need to be evaluated in person by a qualified doctor!
Hai..can I ask you do you eat all kind of food to gain weight. Different with pcos patient who overweight they need to go on diet and avoid consuming some food. What food do you eat to gain more weight?
Hi sir my AMH value is 8. And my thyroids value is 4.75. I have regular periods and weight is normal. By ultrasound doctor told me I have pcos. But I have regular periods also is that possible that I'm not ovulating. Is this prblm to concieve. Now I'm 30 age and 3 months back I'm married. Please is this issue to get pregnant with regular periods.
You probably have PCOS and you are hypothyroid (see my video on this topic). You want to have STRONG ovulation. It is not black or white. Many other factors contribute to fertility as well. Good luck!
@@MissouriFertility
I'm not facing any symptoms and pain during periods and having regular periods. Is this mean that I'm ovulating regularly or not I'm not getting.
Can you explain the high pro to high pa.. The. They ovulate..
Another thing I'm trying to gain weight and get pregnant with out triggering my pcos further. My doctor keeps saying I'm skinny I can't have pcos so I think she can't help me I want to help myself I wish I was in Missouri, could've visited you. Do you by any chance visit Toronto, Doctor ?
Hi Doctor. I just found your channel but I really need your help about lean PCOS and heavy bleeding due to irregular cycles. Can I just leave my email here for your suggestions please.
Ivf success rate in lean PCOd

Or is there any way I can have a consultation online or via phone?
Syeda Khadija where do you live? Your doctor should watch this video!
@@MissouriFertility I live in Toronto, doc. Should I be doing intermittent fasting?
Syeda Khadija I like Intermittent Fasting! I have no data on who benefit the most. BTW, I don’t know how I can help you in Toronto. I’ll see if I know anyone in your area. Later!
@@MissouriFertility thank you, doctor.May you be blessed !
