The way Stefan plays that guitar is like playing the heart strings of humanity, you really feel what he is feeling.

It really amazes me Zkye's ability to find the exact acting of every word. Precisely and deliciously measured.
This is the spiritual offspring of the original U2 version and the Mary J. Blige cover. Why an All-Universe voice like Zkye hasn't gotten her flowers yet is beyond me ("Gotten Her Flowers" is American slang for the utmost recognition and respect from the general public) She probably would kill it on the American Voice. Great support as usual from Darren, Stefan, Michael, Damien. Another superb Darren production!
Unfortunately ‘the Voice’ and Idol shows are just shows made for the benefit of the networks and not the artists. Only a handful of winners have gone on to real house-hold-name kinda fame and ALL of them had to either break away from the contract or work their heart out without the help of the label to reach said fame. I created this as a platform for performers just like Zkye and Stefan to connect with the world on street level and to show everyday people what they could do without all the out of context editing and unnecessary drama. What you see is what you get. Real talent and sweat. It’s not perfect. It’s not meant to be, but it’s meant to connect with you and obviously it’s working 👊🏼
@@singitliveworld True. Those talent shows only benefit the celebrity judges for exposure and the network for ratings. I had some friends who went pretty far on American Idol, but even they couldn't sustain a career on the massive exposure they received from the show. The good news is people are turning back towards RUclips, Tic-Toc, and other social media to discover new talent and not relying on the false narratives of game shows.

Full disclosure, I have never been what I would consider a U2 fan. But I would stand barefoot on an icy sidewalk during a blizzard to hear you guys do this song live.
I am not a fan of u2. But Zkye can turn any song into a gem.

One of Bono's last songs with U2. Steeped in metaphors and psychological twists, Singit Live has chosen a story of a complicated arraignment about to blow-up. Darren's arrangement, Zkye's earthy breaths, Steph's inspired riffs have come together to breath new life into a long forgotten but important tune. l'm impressed, as l expected to be. The wind in her hair was a nice touch.

WOW. I've followed U2 over the years and this is the best cover of one of their songs I've ever heard. The arrangement is perfect with Darren's intro vocals then Zkye's soulful and silky vocals it seems like it was written just for her. Zkye you look beautiful in yellow. This has to be one of my favorites' already. Had to come back and add that after repeated listenings as the song builds by the end it has a distinctly gospel feel to it with all the vocals going full force. Love this .
