They are insanely reliable. My friend have a 2009 with over 250.000km and he daily it, race it, and drive it like he stole it. Not one problem, only regular service and spare parts. Insane fun little car..and if you drive with a light foot it can commute at 8.4/100 or you can easily empty full tank in 45min 😂😂
I have the same car, 2010 version (solar orange), with a stage 1 engine and dsg chip from JD. It is tuned by BVR automotive in Tilburg (NL) and also has an RS3 fuel pump. And altough its a bit lower HP than this one with 319hp, it sure sounds and looks familiair to see! Great video Guys! This must be a happy owner!
Good conditions👌same as mine, friend said it looks better than other with 50 or 80 tousend😂 what this car need in fact of better driving/cornering is Rollbars and a different alightment (toe/camber) from stock values, use long time "only" B16 suspension, the upgrade is top , Hyundai, Hondas ets didn't Invented cars new, they just bring them more agressivly out of the box thats it 😉
Can modified vehicles in the Netherlands be classified as commercial vehicles for tax purposes, like that Range Rover Defender you guys showed months back?

6:42 This is why I like manual cars more than DSG, the rev hang is really annoying. You take your foot off the accelerator and the car is still reving its nuts off which is obviously not what you want it do. In a manual after a pull through gears 1,2 3 you can slot it straight into 5th gear, take your foot off the gas instantly calming the engine while putting on the brake if you need too 🤷♂️ if you want to go again you can drop it back into 3rd. Its a much more pleasurable driving experience imo.
You can do the same thing with a short pull through 1st and 2nd then skip 3rd gear and put it straight into 4th....A DSG doesn't just rev hangs in my experience then drops down after a few seconds. An annoying feature.
@cccengizhan0 It still works the same way, when you take your foot off the accelerator after accelerating hard the rev hangs and takes a few seconds to drop down. I drive a DSG GTI everyday so I know this happens. Doesn't matter if you have it in manual or auto mode. Just my experience.
in the video its because he is in manual mode, its up to him to shift or keep the engines rpm at that count. in your daily driving situation it could be that the gearbox is not adapter to your likings. or your clutch is slipping :D

Depends how you drive too. Mostly it’s pushing it through crankcase ventilation 🤷🏻

Every tuned car you test is slower than it should be. Keep that in mind.
