Drove this car last week on the Nürburgring (lap on my channel). I must say it performs better on the Autobahn🤣 but most importantly: it stays cool without issues!

We had C6 4.2 in our family. I still remember something special about this particular generation. You can't express it you just exposed to the perfect engineering quality
i had the 3.0 TDI apart from regular services i had no problems at all between 150.000km all the way to 370.000km

@Spectacular Spectacular you know that speedo accuracy also depends on tire and rim dimensions right? so we can't really know for sure what the speed actually is if it's not running factory spec wheels

I've driven an A6 3.0tdi from 2007 and it showed the speedo numbers exactly the same as on GPS up to 250km/h.

@@Marakeshh 780Hp is not enough for 350kmh - and error is not constant, increases with speed, if tire size is stock, at 100kmh it usually is off by 2-3%. In most audis I saw 2-3% at 100kmh, about 4-5% at 200kmh. Not sure at 300kmh. At top speed I would guess it is off by at least 7-8%, so about 25kmh+ for sure. 325kmh is realistic top speed.
I just bought a 2008 2.7tdi. it's no rs6 but I'm still stoked to pick it up. Thing drives amazing
To be precise the solar panel roof is not powering the air condition but it could power the mechanical ventilation when the engine is off.

Best generation in my opinion. Mean rear look and relaxed front look. The V10 is the cherry on top of the cake.
I remember the first time I had the privilege's to ride along with an RS6 v10 mtm tuned with "only" 702hp, it felt more like an airplane taking off, it felt like it would never stopped accelerating 😁.

I own a stock one of these. My dream car. Bought it when I separated from my wife. She got a house, I bought this. Mine is sepang blue ( the ONLY colour to have ) and its steering wheel is in the right place. Just spent £11000 getting it fixed, all the known problems are sorted. Still absolutely love it. 5 years of complete bliss. Love it, love it, love it. My daily. I genuinely dont want any other car. This is it. I’ve peaked. Oh, and I took a dead fridge down the tip init. Do that in your Ferrari…..

The engine bay looks amazing. Maybe the best looking modified engine bay I've seen on your channel.
One thing that you realize about this car after a lot of years is how good it sounds. I don´t know if this particular C6 RS6 has an aftermarket exhaust, but the sound of that car is definitely overlooked and quite underrated.
He says it has a fully custom exhaust, no cats, just mufflers.

Love the way it just runs way past the end of the speedo! This C6 Avant for me is my favorite as far as looks go.
C5 and C6 are my most favorite generations of RS6s. The C5 a timeless classic look with the ability to be converted to a 6-speed manual gearbox for under $1500. And the C6 with that gorgeous V10 engine. Both of them also peak fast Audi styling - unassuming on the outside; monstrous on the inside. I love how at 308km/h just then this thing shifts into final gear. Absolutely destroying everything on the road. That top speed is higher than most brand new modern super cars.
Goodluck converting a C5 let alone an rs6 to a manual trans for under 1500.. a good clutch will cost you at least 800+ then you need an ecu tune, axles, custom tailshaft, new trans mounts, the actual trans and a rear diff.. i have done it twice.
I totally agree with c5 and c6 are beautiful powerful machines, the new rs6 is nice but looks alot like dark or dart vader from starwars.

The funny thing is the gearing is so long that at 356 it still doesn't even reach the peak power. It would reach 370 easily if you keep it floored for at least a minute more. With 1000hp it would easily go 400.

When this RS6 C6 was released Audi said it was more of an autobahn car, also the transmission tunnel of RS6/S6 C6 is wider than a standard A6 to accommodate the bigger 6 speed tiptronic transmission, what a beautiful car 👌
