Works fine for me with logs. I take manageable chunks down. Love that thing. Maybe one day I will get a Porta Wrap. I actually took a rigging class with the inventor about 15 or so years ago.
Anything used for rigging isn't supposed to be used for life support after having been used for rigging. I assume the sling is used too. All new gear and triple lock carabiner would be safe for life support.

I don't understand why it's not life support? All the 8s I've seen are 22Kn-35Kn.....?
