I realize this is a long video. If you watch the whole video then I thank you! If you're looking for some highlights then here are some skip to points. Takeoff: 2:10 Rainbows: 21:15 , 23:07 TCAS RA: 30:25 Landing: 32:54
Personally, I like "live the flight" along with you as if part of the crew so length etc. is no problem for me. Love it. Big fan of the Embraer 300 too.
We fly single pilot occasionally (maintenance ferry and empty repositioning legs). We are always flying as crew with passengers aboard. The video I'm working on right now happens to be a single pilot trip. I should have it uploaded by the end of this week. Thanks for watching Bob!
By nature I'm a very critical person and to make it worse I'm a pilot. I did watch the entire video and have to admit you did a fantastic job capturing this ride. Great editing. I look forward to another ride in the future.
I know you have touched on this in your other videos, but I still have a question about using VNAV for climb via and descend via clearances. If you have the A/P on, VNAV engaged and the SID/STAR loaded in the flight plan, will the A/P fly the profile up or down to the altitude in the preselector? Would your answer be any different for a P300 with a G3000 system? thanks
I haven’t been trained on the G3000 so I can’t say for sure how that works. The G1000 currently only does VNAV down. I just finished recurrent training and there’s talk of a new software update that will permit VNAV up. If you are using VNAV the autopilot will capture the glide path and continue all the way to the altitude preselector which should be set to the “Bottom Altitude” for the STAR. This works for STARS as well as on approaches with several step downs prior to the final approach fix like SFO has. If you set the ALT preselect to the final approach fix intercept altitude and arm VNAV and arm APPR it will follow the step downs all the way to the preselected altitude and since APPR is armed it will capture the LOC and GS once the final approach fix is the next sequenced waypoint. Thanks for the questions and thanks for watching!
I do anesthesia for a living, but I come home and pretend I’m a pilot with you guys. Love the high quality videos.

Your videos are excellent. Do you ever fly single pilot?

Just got my private’s at David Wayne Hooks! Awesome to see you taking off from there!
Liked this remark at 18:30, passengers in the back seeing intense colors on the radar, thinking, "Oh my Gosh!"
As a former freight dog this was something new I had to consider when flying people 😂
loved the whole thing

i guess it's kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good website to stream new series online ?
@Brayden Mustafa I use FlixZone. You can find it on google =)
@Aryan Terrance Yup, been using FlixZone for years myself :D
@Aryan Terrance thanks, I signed up and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it!
@Brayden Mustafa no problem :)
Crud I remember that day, interesting to see it from your POV dude! #FTWTowerController
If I had to guess, I would say you were doing a check ride for a Phenom 100 pilot.
Yeah transition training for a current Phenom 100 captain moving into the 300.
And thank you for saying Waxahachie correctly. I’m a native Waxahachian lol!
Great Video
+MrMihawes thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
