✔️ I had a coworker from 1994-96 who owned an '86 Grand National. It was pretty much bone stock, but it was quick as hell, and it was also luxurious and comfortable as hell, because it's a Buick! You could buy these cars in any color you wanted, as long as it was black! 😁
In the mid 80s, I used to hang out at Cecil County Dragway on Friday nights after I was done with high school and work, and we used to see guys back then running 10's and 11's in hopped up Grand Nationals and T-Types that were still 100% street legal.
The T Type was the slightly stripped down version of the Grand National, without the decals and other bells & whistles, but with the same turbo 3.8L V6, so they were just as fast. They also came in colors other than black.

i had my 87 work done by Steve v out of Virginia. 20k to get a 500hp 600tq grandnational. I'm running 93 octane with razor alcohol injection with 3000 stall lock up torque converter. TE 60 turbo. 2.5 pypes exhaust with a 3inch down pipe cat deleted. Hotwire fuel pump kit.

I just went to 3inch dp. Going from 2.5 exhaust to 3in and running e85. Not going to do much else uetz since it's hot air and building LSA for my 96

@@PNCTV-ng2me My neighbor down the street running e85 on his 87 on mickey Thompsons. He helps build with watts performance he said he smokes scatpacks and pulls about even with hellcats. I also have a 92 gmc typhoon and I'm getting a aftermarket ecu done and a complete system harness replacement. Stock 4.3 turbo 280hp and 360tq. After the ecu upgrade I should be 4 to 500hp plus the typhoon is all wheel drive and even stock for a suv it's 5.3 to 60 at 3800lbs. It beat the srt 10 viper truck in the quater mile.

That's dope. I always wanted a Typhoon. Watts is about to rebuild my tranny soon as I get my seats back. Not really trying to make too much noise with this hot air but Eric says I should get low 122s high 11s with my set up so we'll see. When I grab my 87 I'll do a little more. I need the 87 and a BMW 850 and I'll be good 🤣🤣
