Its a LQ 6.0 not an ls The trailblazer ss The c6 Corvette Late year Silverado ss All had the LS2 400 hp all aluminum v8 The normal LQ 6.0 was all iron cast and made 325 hp and thats what the Denali and escalade and Silverado/Seria 2500/3500 used The early Silverado ss with the LQ had 345 hp
I have a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali all blacked out with OEM rims and tires from a 2020 Chevy Silverado. It's got great bones and has some updated parts but runs like a champ even with over 200k miles on the engine. That 6.0 V8 is so bad ass. I love my truck!
I have the xl and love it . For as big and heavy as they are they still move pretty well . And know I know what exhaust to go with. I was just gonna do a muffler delete.
I did the muffler delete on my '05 Denali XL, and kept the factory dual tip. It sounded exactly (to my ears) like my '98 Trans Am. That factory bus muffler had to weigh 70 pounds!
@@c7zftw777 How is the drone with the straight pipe? I've got a magnadrone on mine and it sounds great but it's got tons of highway drone. My Mustang GT is straight piped behind the factory mid pip and it has zero drone and is way louder than the Escalade.
I love the 6.0 denalis; especially the older ones idk why. its' the 2nd generation of the Yukon that I'm thinking of; like 345hp, before the recession-era generation came about in 2007. This one also sported the 6.0 V8 but it was basically a half-step towards the more sporty modern and angular iteration that came next in the year 2014 (the fact that it took a full 7 YEARS for this to happen was not lost on me. This was likely due the financial hardship that every automaker especially GM faced during the recession and the resulting 3rd generation was again - an abomination) anywho; something about the this 2nd generation to me is very American and captures the essence of our inherent style of automobile that comes most naturally to us. It's softly sprung; dense in some places; massive everywhere; heavy overall package; stylish; intimidating; exudes presence and somewhat lowbrow and many would consider to he inconsiderate; inefficient and even tacky but if you don't appreciate what it is then you're missing the point and chances are you're not only not American; you're a hater. So fuq yew. You may not agree with American governments decisions but what we stand for in this country is righteous; our politicians and those in power right now are without a doubt EVIL people and enemies of united states but the people will never waiver. We're not getting up out of our lazyboy recliners and off of our porch to kneel for the enemy; it's just a matter of when we will have the tools (and support from our friends around the world as well as anyone who values democracy, individual liberties and freedom the world over.) to make this right; it will be done. Now we may have a reputation as lazy fat hypocrites in some descriptions ceded in negativity and envy.. however the reality is we're YOU. That includes non-americans and those who seek to destroy us. We're the only country on earth built around the idea that anyone and everyone from anywhere can come here and make their own dreams come true.. we're the nation of 'immigrants' sure but our immigration policy must be enforced in order to protect that dream. If it was a free for all at the border and only a small percentage of those residing in the usa had to pay taxes get a drivers license and so on then it wouldn't be land of the free home of the brave.. it would be an unfair place where anarchy ruled. So yea we gotta have structure and yea our trucks are inefficient. Rant. Not ever gonna self censor on the internet tho so read if you want idc really
Your pretty kick ass also I have this same truck in white each pay check I buy something for it I got a salvage one for 800 gifted to me its on me to fix her up tho so we gettin to it
Flowmaster on GMC/Chevrolet is a required because stock sounds passive Installed a Flowmaster 40 with a 3in 3 out single on my 2007 GMC Sierra Z71 classic don't regret it at all
Did the guy ever get the high flow converters installed? I wanna hear this setup with the high flow converters! I have the same truck but mines an 06 XL and I've been debating on doing something with the exhaust
My 03 Envoy 5.3 has that dreaded factory y-pipe. If I were close to you, I'd have you chop it off and squeeze in two 40 or 44 series in there. Already has the dual exhaust after the 1 in / 2 out flowmaster
It sound good and I want to put that same setup on my 2011 yukon but what I don't want is the rasping. So how do I control that or what setup should I go with????
I have a 04 Denali and it’s 2 3/4in then after muffler and it’s 3in. Easier to just get adapters and delete the muffler that’s what I did. Sounds really similar to this
Aye my man, any update on this dudes catalytic converters???? I got the same system on my denali and wanted to see and hear if I should get cats done??? And much aloha from hawaii guys...my "truck" sounds beast💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾...now I can't run away from my wife🤣🤣🤣 cold start in the morning is a bitxh 2 my neighbors🤣🤣🤣🤣🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Meh! Magnaflow or a Borla would have sounded way bette than that super 10. So tired of hearing super 10s on every single car around town. Even the civic crowd is starting to throw them on their crap and it sounds like shit
Depends on the muffler. It can be dual in dual out and it be one whole muffler or it can be dual in dual out with 2 small mufflers on the inside... not like a resonator
sounds good and runs very strong 6.0 LS ain't playing around..
I’m doing mines next
Contemplating on what I want done though
Its a LQ 6.0 not an ls
The trailblazer ss
The c6 Corvette
Late year Silverado ss
All had the LS2 400 hp all aluminum v8
The normal LQ 6.0 was all iron cast and made 325 hp and thats what the Denali and escalade and Silverado/Seria 2500/3500 used
The early Silverado ss with the LQ had 345 hp
It’s LS based meaning it’s pretty much an LS in iron block form.
Man that 6.0 liter is no joke
I have a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali all blacked out with OEM rims and tires from a 2020 Chevy Silverado. It's got great bones and has some updated parts but runs like a champ even with over 200k miles on the engine. That 6.0 V8 is so bad ass. I love my truck!
Awesome sound. Very aggressive. I give it a 10+
I have a 5.7 Silverado from 1999 running straight pipes they sound very similar great video!!
i have a 2005 yukon denali with the 6.0. and it’s awd. ran a 10.69 in the 1/8 mile
An what all is done to that Denali
What you got some on it?
What trans and t-case?
I believe it I got a 04 that can use e85 I walked a r/t charger one day got on the light he never got passed me stock just straight piped
I have the xl and love it . For as big and heavy as they are they still move pretty well . And know I know what exhaust to go with. I was just gonna do a muffler delete.

Muffler delete ftw. My 05 sounds perfect 😁

Amazing job that’s how I want mine to sound 👍🏾👍🏾
It's not really true dual if the muffler is acting like an xpipe though right? True dual is two separate mufflers i thought.
I thought true duals was two separate mufflers

Your pretty kick ass also I have this same truck in white each pay check I buy something for it I got a salvage one for 800 gifted to me its on me to fix her up tho so we gettin to it
Used to have an 06 with a flowmaster 40 series sounded amazing
truly a beautiful car. got the same one
Flowmaster on GMC/Chevrolet is a required because stock sounds passive Installed a Flowmaster 40 with a 3in 3 out single on my 2007 GMC Sierra Z71 classic don't regret it at all
Sounds amazing
Sweet!!! I have the exact Denali...i need this mod.
How much do you charge for this set up
منتهي الي يعلق 😁I liked oyyya
Awesomeness!
Liked and subscribed, love the sound of a Chevy V8! Does it have an aftermarket air intake?
Looks great 👍
Since I’m so so early Exhaust Addicts should reply to my comment
Being early is not always a good thing 😉
What size exhaust tips for these trucks?
Dang, that big ole thang scoots don't it?!
Its got that big powerful engine
wallah [pretty good brodah
love it
Did the guy ever get the high flow converters installed? I wanna hear this setup with the high flow converters! I have the same truck but mines an 06 XL and I've been debating on doing something with the exhaust
Why not keep it 3" out to the back like the factory?
My 03 Envoy 5.3 has that dreaded factory y-pipe. If I were close to you, I'd have you chop it off and squeeze in two 40 or 44 series in there. Already has the dual exhaust after the 1 in / 2 out flowmaster
The video says 3.5 inch tips but the link shows 4 inch, which one are they?? Thanks
4 inch
Very very Nice!,....how much?
It sound good and I want to put that same setup on my 2011 yukon but what I don't want is the rasping. So how do I control that or what setup should I go with????
Super 50
Why did you choke it down to 2 1/4 if the factory was 2 1/2? A 3” would have been louder.
I have a 04 Denali and it’s 2 3/4in then after muffler and it’s 3in. Easier to just get adapters and delete the muffler that’s what I did. Sounds really similar to this

Is this legal in Colorado?
What’s the cost of something like this?
But she does sound great
How much a job like this cost?
Got the same one in silver grey metallic nice shape for 900 bucks
To me when exhaust goes into one muffler I think it's not true duals
Check engine light on HUH
2 ¼ is to small
Dude out here adding mods to his ride and still got the drive out tags on it. Smh.
Super 10s we’re to quiet for me
Those wheels are hideous
Nope not a truck. Its a SUV
Meh! Magnaflow or a Borla would have sounded way bette than that super 10. So tired of hearing super 10s on every single car around town. Even the civic crowd is starting to throw them on their crap and it sounds like shit
Borla is way better Flowmaster way better than Magnaflow
Flowmasters are crap!!
That’s your OPINION
I would have straight piped it
Man that Denali clean as Fuck 💯
Not true duals when they combine into a single muffler, even if it is dual in/dual out.
Ggi
Depends on the muffler. It can be dual in dual out and it be one whole muffler or it can be dual in dual out with 2 small mufflers on the inside... not like a resonator
It’s true duals idk why GM put them together at the back wheel. Each header has its own side and exhaust.
