The Ormsby MAYBE could cause a problem if you find long scale lengths to bother you in general already, since it does have a large fan. But I really believe that up to ~27" the average person won't have a problem as long as they're looking to explore a longer scale in the first place. If not, there's nothing wrong with just rockin' that Les Paul forever.
