Class of 2023 was going through most of high school during the pandemic. their school year was interrupted freshman year whereas class of 2022 had sophomore and freshman year in high school before remaining out of school during their junior year.

Hey, I am going to take the SAT in a month and I’m freaking out. I keep zoning out in the middle of the practice exams and I never finished on time. The worst is in the SAT reading section. Would you please tell me how to fix this??? Thanks and God bless.
One week update: I have made a list pertaining to my area of interest, looked into scholarships and their deadlines, and registered for the SAT and SAT subject tests. Thank you for what u do Supertutor! You sure are helping me out a lot.
I’m trying to get into rice and am applying there early. I really hope I get in since it’s a perfect fit for me and a great school. I have a good sat score but only a 3.7 unweighted (my high school is well known to colleges and they know it’s harder to make good grades). Thanks for the helpful videos.
Email us at info@supertutortv.com if you don't get it. We'll also be sending a link to it tomorrow in our newsletter, which we subscribe you to if you entered your email. It may have landed in your bulk folder or been stopped by your filters or something. I did test it myself today and it worked (shrug) (technology).
Thank you so much! your videos are really helpful for someone like me(I'm an international student). There is something I'm really worried about and that is submitting my application. For example, if one of the deadlines is on Nov 1, should I submit my application in October?(I'm taking the October SAT).
Guys please help, I have one question. I am a North Indian Male. My college avg is pretty bad (91%ish) but my SAT is pretty good (1560,780+780). My ecs are pretty good. How are my chances to good pre med programs or Cornell?
Any volunteer activities you can do for a couple of weeks somewhat related to an intended major perhaps. If you are interested in medicine/ biology you can volunteer at a PT center, if you're into education, or social sciences any after school/ kids camp you can help out with even it it's unofficially!
You mentioned negotiating financial aid. If I successfully do this, will I have to do this every year in college with the risk of them not being so nice one year?
For rec letters do you think it’s better to ask over email during the summer or to ask on the first week of school. I don’t want to be impersonal by sending an email but I also want to provide them with as much time as possible.
Either is totally fine!! Your teachers will have plenty of time if you ask in the fall, but if you want to email now that's fine too! All of us adults are rooting for you guys so don't worry about the timing too much! Just know they won't be able to submit until applications are open etc.
HEY BROOKE UH BIG HELP WITH TIMING.... uh so i’m planning on taking SATII on October 5 but then I also want to do EA/ED......I know it takes 2 weeks to release scores and another 1-2 weeks to send scores to colleges. If I want to submit my Oct. SATII scores, will I be able to meet the Nov 1 EA/ED deadline ??????? I’ve asked students who did EA/ED last year about the last minute timing of this and they said I should be fine but I dunno....Logistically it doesn’t seem like it.
alice lange Depends on the school. Any school that accepts self reporting you are 100% fine. if a school requires the official score report a few schools maybe now are telling you October might not reach them in time. Michigan is that stand out here. For Michigan I would just try to get another score in in addition to your October score and they will focus on your best score. This is why I recommend making a spreadsheet and looking all this stuff up.
I have a question, I’ve seen in some of the universities’ checklists this : “We want to review at least 3 years of secondary school records that list subjects you studied and marks received for each subject”. As an international student, there are only 3 years of secondary school, and by the time I’m applying, I’m gonna be having 2 records of two years only, what do I do?
No school has a pre-med major so search for schools that have a supportive premed environment with good advisors. Look for a school where you know you can get a good GPA as that matters for med school and where you don't have to take out a huge loan (unless you're really well off) to save money that will go towards med school

Hi Brooke, could you make a video about applying for Canadian schools?
FerdDoesWeirdThingsInLife
step 1: send grades.
step 2: do the essay (if they have one)
now you’re done
So awkward reading the 2020 comments during corona...
I'm kind of nervous about applying to scholarships tbh I'm pretty much average student with a decent/low gpa
Your essay would be key, really impressing with creative and critical elements to sell your story.

It's normal for your test scores to be higher than your GPA! If you're very involved and busy, it's okay for your GPA to not be a 4.0. Good luck!
Isn’t early action binding and early decision non-binding
Other way around yo!
Amazing video. Thank you!

I’m terrified, an ex-Berkeley admissions officer in a webinar basically said I’m screwed.
