As a sales person who travel frequently, no spare tyre maybe fine in urban areas as usually assistance can reach you within 1 hour. However should the trip involve country (kampung) area, good luck getting help especially when your tyres are burst with hole that can' be patched by the tyre repair kit. This is a serious deal breaker considering the car is positioned as a work horse product for the working class.
i still like the looks of the all-new vios and it is truly defy expectations there's only three downsides which i don't like the headroom is quite limited there is no spare wheel and no folding rear seat but on the bright side i really like the design it looks like a baby camry at every angle it's much better than a boring design like the city
Just went for the test drive today, the driver and passenger seat is very comfortable, but the back site seat is way too straight and have no lumbar support at all
Recently I've test drive the new Vios and overall ok, I've been told by the salesperson that need to wait until end of the year or early next year to get the car, I also been told that GR Sport coming soon, however I've been told that I can paid the deposit for booking first, when the GR Sport launch I can change the order.
Horrible interior with cheap plastic. I entered both yaris and vios, the quality is night and day. Those who want to buy new vios better compare 1st, feel the car. Dont blindly pay 90k. For me, not worth it
Totally agree, I can accept without spare tyre, no 60:40 fold, but the armrest making it looks like A-segment budget car, which selling 95k. Also, don't have the mirror for passenger.
Stingy fellas, for this price people expect practicality, you removed split seats, arm rest, and spare tyre. Plus, give lame reason like 'improve comfort'
Affordable my foot. 100K almost on the road for G Variant. What nonsense for a 1500cc car. In Brunei I am sure this car is under 25K. Really blood sucking price tag.
It’s just a glorified Daihatsu using parts , engines and components frm Sedayan parts bin 😂 courtesy of a Perodua . It so sluggish in acceleration , it’s down on power compared to last generation, heck, it doesn’t even come with a spare tyre 🙈 the DNGA is an overhyped platform , it’s no where near the TNGA, and the birth of DNGA is meant for saving cost for the Toyota / Daihatsu conglomerates. Don’t let me start with the mediocre quality parts in the cabin , which you can get with 1/2 the price buying any Perodua . This is more like Perodua Vios 😂 want a proper Toyota in malaysia ? go get an Altis please. That’s a proper Toyota . Not this Perodua Vios.

Lmao you act like the previous gen vios is any better. It has never been a “real” toyota, always lacking in terms of handling and tech. This one is a lot better especially when it comes to interior quality, lots of soft material leatherette can be found in the interior where the previous gen vios would’ve just greet you with nasty scratchy plastic.

These is a good car overall but the back sit without an arm rest in the middle of it which is a very negative & stingy show from Toyota.
hopefully they can fix that with the facelift or minor change update just like the civic fc couple of years ago
