- This is my cover of Someday by Nickelback.
This song means a lot to me because it's their very first song that introduced me to Nickelback!
Out of all the other songs including How You Remind Me in the album, Someday is my favorite and I've always wanted to cover this song.
The song was recorded in C minor, in case anybody wonders why it sounds a little different from the original song.

It is? Maybe I shouldn't have played it a key up 😭
Just a personal preference that a song doesn’t sound right when it’s not played right. For example, Chad belts every screamed note, you’re using Falsetto. It just doesn’t sound right to me. That’s like when somebody covers High Hopes two octaves lower than the original, it just sounds not right. Not bad, just not right. You sound fine otherwise. Again, just a personal preference. Kudos to playing and singing at the same time too, that shit is difficult and that’s why NB’s songs never sound very expert. They all do at least two things at once and that’s impressive.
Yes, I absolutely agree with you. Liking this song and fitting into it is two different things. Nonetheless I'm thinking of trying more Nickelback songs haha. I hope I do better, or more suiting this time. Thanks for your comment bro.
You should cover a Theory of a Deadman song sometime, particularly from their “Gasoline” era. I think you’d do well covering one of those songs like “No Surprise”, where Tyler transitioned between chest and Falsetto simultaneous in the choruses excellently. Here is my cover of it as an example, also fun as hell to cover....
