This is my cover of Way Away by Yellowcard, one of my all time favorite bands.
When Ocean Avenue first came out, I was so excited to have found this band, and that I have so many songs to learn!
Yellowcard still gives me inspirations when I make music. A lot of ideas I have on the drums comes from listening to this band.
I hope you like this cover as well.
I'm glad that I can share my part of the foundation of music.

He is still one of my biggest reasons to play / make / enjoy music. I still miss his voice and creativity. #서태지coma_cover 서태지의 Coma 커버해보았습니다! 제가 여태 Heffy End 랑 로보트를 커버했었느데, 신기하게 서태지 노래는 반응이 극과 극으로 갈리는 것 같습니다. 그만큼 서태지가 갖고 있는 팬층이 조금 더 특색있는 사람들이기에 그런 것 같습니다. 이번에도 Coma (nature) 버전을 참고해서 어쿠스틱 기타 하나로만 하려고 했는데 하다보니 악기들이 많이 늘어났네요. 특히 서태지 노래는 화음이 매우 복잡하게 들어가는데, Livewire 바로 다음이라 그런지 코러스 녹음하는 게 정말 정말 정말 어려웠습니다! Nature 버전과 비교해보면 당연히 많이 부족하지만 .. 곡 색깔을 많이 잃지 않으면서도 서태지를 마냥 따라한 거 같지는 않은 게 마음에 드네요. 들어주셔서 감사합니다!!! * ...
