How does this measure the angle turned? Is it through the tripod? Accelerometer? What is the angular precision? Could it be considered a replacement for a total station for relatively small areas? Can you set horizontal control points for additional setups if you can't shoot everything from one setup?
Both angles (horizontal and vertical) are measured in the adapter DST 360. For P2P measurements the typical accuracy is 10mm up to 10m distance.
Even the result is basically the same as from a total station with less accuracy, we wouldn’t call it replacement. A stationing or relocation is not possible with the available software options.

You can add notes by clicking on the Tool button in the top navigation bar. Here you can choose whether you want to add text, markers or tags.
If you have an active subscription, it is also possible to add detailed information to the PDF Pro export format, where you can specify various information such as company name, address, etc.
Will you ever be adding wall thickness? Its very important for us as built surveyors

With Smart Room it is possible to measure only one room at the time with 20 wall maximum.

The accuracy is typically 10mm@10m measured distance. A Total station is within millimeters.
Can it work with 2-3 rooms at the same time? I assume the files need to be stitched up together manually in Autocad, I am not sure how it works.
It is possible to work with multiple rooms, but it’s not possible to add the wall thickness.

Measure Plan is made to catch the inside footprint of a room. To get it from the outside you could use Sketch Plan. Sketch the footprint and then add the single distance meaurements to the single walls.

The use of a DST 360 adapter is required to carry out Measure Plan and other P2P Measurements (Measure Façade, Measure 3D, Earthworks) as it contains all the necessary sensors to enable this type of measurement.

You Need to use the DST360 tripod because it is a very Special tripod with high sensors inside.
Hi ,I owned a Leica x4 and I have the following issue-when I am trining to connect x4 with pc via Bluetooth, the pc find the x4 ,make the connection but it non possible to stabilize the connection ,it find it and loose it e every second .I tried it with several Pc’s and the same issue every time .All the Pc’s have windows 10 and I have install also Leica’s program “disto transfer”. When I connect it with my iphone I don’t have any issues and it connect normally and steadily.
Please tel me what I have to do .
We’re sometimes faced with this issue on some Windows 10 versions. As we don’t have any possibility from our side, we recommend in such a case to use an external
Bluetooth USB dongle to establish the connection to the DISTO.

Help!, i have the Leica Disto S910 which asks me to connect via WLAN hotspot to use this option. I set the settings on the LEICA, but im unable to connect to the network!! (unable to obtain IP address). I have tried access from different devices, and same problem. What can i do?. Thanks.

Iam using ts 02 plus new model total station
It shows signal too strong in prism mode
And signal takes more time to return compared to other leica ts why it happens so?

Measure Plan requires a DISTO™ supporting P2P measurements. These are the DISTO™ S910 or a DISTO™ X3/X4 in combination with the DST 360 P2P adaptor.

Pls let me know. If the room has different hight of ceiling does the disto plan (with disto x4 device) can take into account in measurements? In this case it is influenced for volume of room, total square etc.

It’s possible to enter only one room height for a single room.
Otherwise you can work with the P2P function Measure Plan and export in DXF or DWG Raw format. This will reflect the differences in the ceiling elevation.

Why is the Leica measuring app poorly designed compared to the Bosh, individual walls height cannot be applied individually. Folder is a tragedy. Leica Disto 3D is produced unchanged from 10 years camera in this fixture is like in my old phone from before the stone age
