  • In this video we will explain the Measure 3D function of the Leica DISTO™ Plan App steb by step.
    For some design work we have to measure the whole room with 3D data to get the highest flexibility working with the data on a CAD system.
    "3D Measure" is supported by DISTO S910, DISTO X3 and X4 on a DST 360.

    Endlich!

    One more question, is there a plan to release Disto Plan app for windows? There are many of us out there willing to use their disto series gadgets with Surface Go tablets (or other windows tablets).

      Thanks for the feedback. Currently there are no plans to release DISTO Plan App for Windows in the foreseeable future.

    Dear LEICA Team, this is a great function. I am using an S910 and as far as I understand I have to use the "Send Measurement" button in the device to transfer the point to my LEICA Disco App on iOS. I also habe the button on the left side which is showing a photo, but no photo is transferred to my iPhone. For what this button can be used?

    • @LeicaGeosystemsCH
      @LeicaGeosystemsCH  3 месяца назад +1

      This button sends a photo from the DISTO to another connected device. However, this only works with DISTO transfer, as the DISTO Plan app does not support the transfer of images.

    Question. When transferring point to point data (dxf) does it have to be into autocad software or can this data be transferred into applications that also accept dxf files (for example chief architect)?

    • @LeicaGeosystemsCH
      @LeicaGeosystemsCH  3 месяца назад +1

      Direct data transfer with the DISTO transfer plugin is only possible with AutoCAD and BricsCAD, which are officially supported. If the DXF data is downloaded from DISTO after the DXF measurement, then it should also be possible to open it in other programs that support dxf files

    Good evening! Where are photos of measured points saved when working with the Leica S910 on?

    • @LeicaGeosystemsCH
      @LeicaGeosystemsCH  11 месяцев назад

      Pictures from DXF data capture measurements are saved in the device’s memory and can be seen when the DISTO is plugged to the computer in the folder DXF Exports. Screenshots and photos can be displayed either in the device itself or after plugging to the computer in the folder Screenshots and Pictures.

    When working in the Disto transfer plugin, the image from the s910 rangefinder is saved to a folder on your computer. And where is this image stored when working with the DISTO Plan application? Thank you.

    • @LeicaGeosystemsCH
      @LeicaGeosystemsCH  3 месяца назад

      The images taken with the S910 are not saved when working with the DISTO Plan App. This is only possible with DISTO transfer.

    Looking for something like this to survey existing conservatories but tolerances are tight

      Accuracy with an adapter is typically 10 mm at 10 meters.

    Is this tablet holder a product of your company?
    Also, can I store it in the case with the holder attached?
    One more thing: Can you hold the Apple Pencil with it attached?

    • @LeicaGeosystemsCH
      @LeicaGeosystemsCH  3 месяца назад +1

      This holder is not a product of our company. In this video we are using iKlip holder, see the link below. Given its size, it is not possible to place this holder in a case, assuming all items stay there as well. We have no experience with the Apple Pencil, but we suspect it should be possible.

      For measurements outdoors and over long distances, it is advisable to equip our products with a camera and a Pointfinder. These products are the DISTO D5 and X6. With the Pointfinder you can easily measure distances of well over 100 meters. Please follow the link below to our website where you will find all the necessary information:

      @@LeicaGeosystemsCHIm sorry im a little bit confused I'm really interested to buy the newest versión of DISTO but I don't understand really well so i want to buy it for outdoor and indoor projects I was looking in amazon but the s910 P2P looks like a newest versión tan X4 and also is more expensive. Which are the differences between both systems? Why the X4 is more cheapest?

    • @LeicaGeosystemsCH
      @LeicaGeosystemsCH  Год назад +2

      @@geralitro X3 and X4 were launched in 2018, S910 was launched in 2015. X3/X4 are indeed our newest products. However, from the functional point of view, S910 is our most advanced one with up to 300 m of range, in-built P2P functionality and WLAN connectivity.
