- Battlefield 2042 actually buffed the attack helicopters and they are deadly now! I tested them out today with @TwoAngryGamersTV and had a blast. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.

True, even 2042 is the way it is, these moments do happen. Like, jumping off calaiedscope rooftop and opening the parachute, to shoot an enemy on the ground whilst a rocket fly past me and explosions go off..m absolutely sick.

Agreed. The skill curve makes this helicopter balanced. It's not easy to wreck people with it without good communication either.

@@rugvedk109 It is not a skill curve at all, they are easy to pilot and very forgiving compared to something like bf2 where even a tree branch or a light pole would kill your heli

5mins after the game starts in Conquest 64, no vehicles to choose, except a buggy and hovercraft, choppers pop up maybe twice in the map, so getting hold of one, and making use of the new weapons, is a feat itself!

bro he used to butt ride Dice for years and they never gave him a deal, then he got SO excited and made a video about his new partnership with EA after the Dice devs left to make some classic BF games, but he wont even say a peep on that, just juicing up a pretty meh game. the game is actually great now. Miles ahead of the release, but people who never played it again kept going with the critics
Being probably top 1% in bf4 as a chopper pilot. I was super disappointed with not being able to replicate my flying controls in 2042, even with mapping my controls. What a fun time I could be having
I have problems as well with a hotas. It's simply not supported :(((

there are some things i *don't* miss from bf4. The attack chopper is certainly one of those things.

Yeah that and a good attack jet pilot with jdams could ruin a good match. Air vehicles are incredibly difficult to balance tbh
Yeah any map that has an AH should have at least one AA and so many didn't and there was very little you could do about them cause they would go out of normal player bounds, wait for ECM to reload, come back in, kill 5-10 people, pop ECM and repeat. That or orbital strike heli where literally nothing could do anything to them and they just spam TV and long range gunner
Every time I hopped in a heli in BF4 I got Active Radar'd 0.5 seconds after leaving spawn by the enemy AA that was sitting across the map.
It's why all the heli only players mainly played Siege of Shanghai.
There were helicopter pilots almost every game going like 60-2 before this udpate... Can't wait for them to go 100-1 now.
Idk if it was the squad play or the new heli but that was a lot of fun to watch. Felt like old Battlefield.
I think if the maps were bigger, maybe hell let loose big, helis like this could be a lot of fun and it would be less op.

I mean they’re much better balanced than they used to be, it’s not a free 80 killstreak like the attack chopper was in BF4. That’s probably why.

Laaame. The thing I hated the most about 2042 originally (beside it being shite for ages) was how deadly the helios were and how hard it was to take them out.
Liked it waaay better when they toned them down fairly recently.

They need to extend the flare cool down time or reduce the overall armor of helis now. It's incredibly unbalanced
Agreed, the flare cool down is too fast. Had a little bird camp our spawn on kaleidoscope and I could barely take him out. Finally did but took a while after he massacred our team.

@@Maxfoshow you can fly low below radar and out of bounds of the map to avoid lock on. It becomes OP, unless they extended the range of lock on it wouldn't be so bad.

Those attack helicopters are deadly now, and I definitely see more of them in the game.
Honestly this gives me hope for the future some how. I think what new battlefield has lost is the dynamic vehicle play. Considering each team only gets 1 attack helicopter, make it as OP as you want. I cant complain

I’m loving 2042! It’s a completely different game to launch. To making any comparison is pointless. It’s like saying nobody plays WOW because they say with back in the mid 2000s compared to now.

Remember how BF4 showed you the direction your turret was facing relative to the vehicle? That was the purpose of the vehicle silhouette at the bottom. Glad to see that feature is gone *sigh*

Honestly, Renewal is really good especially for helicopters, its really open, not a lot of places to hide, and if theres someone Wildcat camping at their spawn, you can just go on the other side of the wall
There are vehicles that need to be somewhat strong an attack chopper is one of them.
Thankfully we have better AA like Lis as a check against them.

Well, I am going to be that guy, but unfortunately there is always going to be an imbalance. You really cannot make an FPS game where everything will be balanced, it is practically impossible to do. There is always going to be some kind of gadget or weapon spam, that is never going away unfortunately. Only way you going to reduce it is by making it like real life so if you deplete your rockets or rounds, you will need to fly back to your base and restock on all that.

Love watching your videos, always fun. Left BF due to vehicles being so dominant, and that doesn't seem to have changed. Only ever liked playing infantry, but the vehicles are just so oppressive. BF2 used to have infantry mode which was awesome, and BF5 felt like it had the balance right at the end. One day they might get it right for players like me :)
I still play bf5 and bf2042 and phew bf5 is much more beautiful even compared to ps5 version of 2042
Battlefield is about large scale combined arms, not infantry only, something you dont understand, i think COD is more of your game so go, and fyi BF5 didnt had the right balance

I gotta agree 100%. Vehicles are supposed to make infantry feel oppressed. There's supposed to be a genuine fear when vehicle's show up, not havin that one man army mentality...
@@mnandeazy34 And if you can team up and take one out, it should be significant. It is not. I don't know what it's like currently, but last time I played the vehicles had infinite ammo and could regen armor - and respawned very quickly. If infantry mainly feel oppressed, who would play infantry. Without infantry, it's just a vehicle game.
I was referring to Infantry Only mode anyway, not removing vehicles from the game.
