Great, 12 min saved me hours in research. Thx
i am searching on the internet how to aws reserve instance works, and i found your video. thank you so much, good explanation
super session... see if you can extend same clip and convert instances ( like terminate existing RI inst and create additional insts in place of it)
If we have multiple ec2 instance of same configuration and purchased reserved instance is one of same configuration like on demand then on which instance it will be applied
Easy understanding 🎉
Thank you so much for you tutorial
good video, thanks mate!
how to give vpc public subnet this reservded instance
@e2e Solution Architect I have a question related to reserved instances. If i reserve an instance for RDS , how do i get to use it provision a database?
Thanks for the informative video, how do we know the count of reserved instances after they have provisioned(need information on types that were originally purchased and are in use/unable to see any information in Reserved Instances blade).
what about the storage ? how much storage can i choose under my reserved instance?
Hi have a question here.
Imagine my aws account has 10 ec2 instances of t2.micro size and out of them 5 are just for some poc but the other 5 will remain to be used for the next 1 year. I f i want to move or utilize this reserved instances for just the 5 instances. How to achieve that? Isnt there a way to specifically mention which instances to be part of reserved instances?
Can you please show how the amount gets calculated in the Billing console for reserve instance?
yes please, how can i be sure its my reserved instace is not clear
I need to update the files and folder like upload an updated code to Live, for that meantime I want to shift the traffic to reserved instance until everything is done on live instance. If update is done then i will get back to ondemand instance is this possible to it ?
i have already 4 on demand instance now i wanna convert them into reserves instance how
The solution was in the video. Instances are not to convert for RIs. just purchase 4 RI instance with same specifications (as your existing instances are). AWS will automatically consider your existing instances for RI and will not change as on-demand. Please revisit the video.
@@e2esolutionarchitect thank you
