Ha! I was at the Tinsmith's Wife last weekend, too! It was my first visit to any LNS, and this is SUCH a luscious store, I am probably spoiled! Even my hubby was impressed (especially with the couch where "cross stitch widowers" could rest!). I also got my first silks, just a couple skeins to practice with, my first 30 count fabrics, my first Lakeside and first Atomic Ranch fabrics, and my first Ginny Thompson Flower thread (i had previously bought some Danish Flower thread in Amsterdam and love it). It is a dangerous place for the budget! Pretty, organized, helpful people. And Comfort is cute ;we had never been there either. We are in Corpus Christi and love the Hill Country but Comfort was new. 😅we enjoyed lunch at High Cafe around the corner. Next time you go, you also might check out afternoon tea at Fancy Finch Tea Cottage in Ingram.... Delish! Not exactly close but wirth bit of drive. I mean in Texas, everywhere is far away! Thanks for all your sharing and enthusiasm and candor on your Flosstubes! It is great to see a fellow Texan. I've only been back into crossstitch for about 18 months so it's still new ! I don't know any dedicated cross stitchers in my area so enjoy the stitching fellowship on Flosstube. Well done and be well.
@@Cctexstitch Thanks for the great comment and for watching our video. We plan on going back hopefully before Thanksgiving so that I can purchase floss and beads for a Mirbabilla I want to start for my birthday. I have done most of my shopping on line so having so many choices right in front of me was amazing. I only started stitching again about 3 years ago. I don’t know anyone who stitches either. So it is nice that my daughter is showing any interest in stitching. Happy Stitching!
Great video. Love seeing all of your progress. I love the tinsmith shop. I live in College Station and my daughter lives in Boerne so every chance I get when I’m there I go by Wendy is so helpful. I started the oh dear, probably two years ago never finished it. I need to pull it out. Have a great week
She certainly was and they have so many projects to choose from. I’m enjoying the Oh Deer project. My goal is to have it done by Thanksgiving. We shall see. I certainly don’t have as many WIPS as a lot of people do. Enjoy the cooler weather. Hopefully you got some of the much needed rain.
I loved your video!! I enjoyed seeing your finishes and the wips. Your work is beautiful!!!💕
Thank you so much!
