Hi Jill, the sisters retreat sounds like so much fun! Love what I can see of the quilt hanging to the right of you. Can you tell me more about it? Thanks!
Thanks Denise! The quilt is a quick and easy pattern using 5" charm packs sewn into 9 patches. Then you quarter the 9 patch down the middle, mix them up and sew back together with narrow 1" sashing between each block. Finish with a wider border using the same fabric as the sashing. My quilt is a small square finished 32.5 ". I made 4 nine patches to make my quilt that is primarily used as a table runner. I decided to hang my quilt because I needed to find a short quilt above my desk. I think the quilt would be so cute in a large size. I think I made a baby size years ago. My brain! I believe I got the idea from the Moda Bake Shop online years ago. This website offers free ideas and patterns. Thanks for watching! Here is a link to the bake shop! my.modafabrics.com/categories/moda-bake-shop
I currently don’t have a grateful stitch, as I’m a new stitcher; however, you are expanding my awareness of what’s available to stitch. Also a project bag would definitely encourage starting a new stitch! Enjoying your videos very much
