You know, it’s interesting that so many women in their late 40’s develop certain diseases at this age. It’s when I developed Graves’ disease which is hyperthyroidism that causes a Thyroid Storm. It’s an autoimmune disorder as well. It caused me to have diabetes and hypertension as well. I’m glad you’re feeling better. Miss Mildred was curious about the silkies and was peeking over the top of the stall rail. Everyone wants in on the action. The kittens have been with the eggs until they hatched so they have become almost litter mates. That’s so adorable. Funny how DeeDee snitched an egg. Hopefully you find everyone sue buries. Now that you cooked it up for her-it’s on! She’ll be back for more!

I pray for you Brooke my husband lived with rheumatoid arthritis from the time he was 47 till he was 67 don't be concerned if sometimes the medicine stops working there's a lot of other things that you can take and my husband went to the best doctor in Georgia which was down in Atlanta at the rheumatologist at Piedmont Hospital and Brooke don't forget that prayer helps everything and in Jesus name I asked for you a healing
Ms. Brooke, my experience with my auto immune disorder was that until my tongue cleared, the meds were not working on the problem. Looking back , I am blessed that I was not given a colostomy. That is the resort that males are often given for treatment. From 2003-2008 I was a medical guinea pig...and truly ready to kick the bucket. After receiving a correct diagnosis and treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester , I have had 15 years of relatively normal health, and am approaching my 80th birthday.
Deedee with the egg is the funniest thing I have seen a dog do in a long time. That has made my day laughing!! Just precious.
Mildred was so sweet sticking her sweet head up and looking for her mama !

Hi Brooke, so happy to hear meds are working! Non-steroid too, that’s an answer to prayer. Deedee and that egg 🥚 was so darn cute! But once again that sweet Mildred stole my heart. She is darling when she peeks over fences and through barn doors! She has such a personality. Well, all your animals do. I credit you and Jason for that. They know they are loved and cared for. Just like MaryCarl. She’s thriving and growing up to be quite a remarkable young woman. Well done. ❤
As someone who also suffers from an inflammatory condition, but is allergic non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, I'm very glad it's working for you! I also wanted to thank you for bringing light to those of us who suffer from invisible conditions. It's very hard when people don't tell you to your face that they think you're lying, but you can see it on theirs that they do.

I cant believe MaryCarl is 14 already. Crazy. I am glad your pain is manageable for the time being. Hopefully once they are done with all the tests and you get diagnosed, they will be able to get you on more manageable plan that is more permanent. Mildred's photo bombing was perfect.😂

We have to learn to roll with the ups and downs of any kind of illness. I've learned that with a breast cancer diagnosis. I am so grateful it was caught early and my treatments have been minimal. So wonderful to hear your feeling better and this new medication is taking the edge off. I’ve been under the care of Rheumatologist since 2008. It’s going to be a lifelong battle. Thankful to be able to live independently, and that I have adequate insurance. My faith has grown exponentially throughout my journey. My primary disease is Dermatomyositis and, I too, look normal on the outside. Many autoimmune diseases fall under a category known as an “invisible disability”. Stay strong Brooke.
