VSKAs aren’t bad for the money . Unless you get a lemon, if you take care of it, it will take care of you. Definitely better than a 100 yard rifle, though, even with irons. Whatever anyone says about Century’s, they are accurate and they have one of the better triggers you will find on AKs. The barrels aren’t cold hammer forged like the East European ones but they are 4150 chrome moly vanadium and there is nothing wrong with them. If you zero the irons properly and practice, you should have no trouble at all hitting a man-sized target at 200 yards. Anyway, the AKs made in “countries that hate us” are no longer imported. I don’t think Poland hates us at all and their WBP “Jack” is one of the best AKs you can get, and it’s not prohibitively expensive, no more than a higher end AR, around $1200-$1400 clams Serbia is still rather bitter about NATO bombing them under Clinton in the late 90s, but it’s a bit of a stretch to say that they “hate” us, and they make one of the best AKs for the price that you can get on the US market, the M70 ZPAP, which can still be had for around a grand. If you’re satisfied with your VSKA that’s great. If you want to step up to something a bit better, then you still don’t have to give money to people who “hate” us. Just sayin.

Wow, this has to be one of the most uninformed opinions I’ve seen to date. There’s just so much I could debate… if an AK is a “100 yard rifle at best”, that’s a deficient shooter, not a deficient rifle. A “100% American made AK” is typically a red flag to most, if not all, AK collectors and shooters (people who spend more time around them than you do). American made AKs are notorious for their quality control issues and lack of reliability. Why would you buy something that WILL fall apart at 5k rounds (or less), or blow up and injure/kill you, over a rifle from a NATO country (Romania), and makes an AK that WILL NOT fall apart or kill you. You should have gone with a Century WASR and it would have cost you about the same and you’d get a 10x better rifle. By “glorifying an AK”, I am not glorifying Russia or any other country that “hates us”. People glorify the weapon and it’s engineering. If it was a trash rifle, why has it been used against us for the last 70 years with measurable success? And no, steel is not steel with AKs. If it’s not forged steel, you WILL run into problems. I agree. Not that they are a POS but they did over pay
@@TerryBenton this was out of angry for the hypocrisy of ak fan boys, they are not pos you are right
@@stiring614 I agree
I’d rather have an imported AK built using the Soviet technical data package on Soviet era equipment using the proper metallurgy and heat treatment and all forged parts. Century arms has a shit reputation because of the RAS47 and the C39v2. they lied to their costumers and put profits over safety.
This rifle has never given me any problems. People read stuff on the internet and overthink things. This is true about anything
@@TerryBenton either you’re trolling or you’re extremely ignorant.
I love my vska akm rifle
That is awesome. I have a video of the wood furniture I put on it
Bullshit there’s lots of people here in the USA who love AKs
And they should buy one e of these American made rifles. Thanks for watching
Yeah Merica!
Yup!
i’ll only buy old school wasr-10’s. no particular reason except DAMN the finish on all new century ak’s are absolutely disgusting compared to their old items. like dear god how lazy can you be.
You are correct. The finish is not the best. Still a good shooting rifle
Russia has been trying to join natio since Bill Clenton just so you know my man
Right...
@@TerryBenton watch his interview with Tucker Carlson and that’ll put you more in the loop lol
@AKMerk3m believing a psychopath because they talk a good game? Come on my guy... The dude would liquidate you and your family with the quickness if he got half the chance.
Damn bro, just review the rifle. Nobody cares about your political opinions. BTW, I have a VSKA and consistently hit metal at 250 yds. with iron sights.
Nice!
This video depicts bias and unnecessary Russophobia. I recommend you down vote it. Don't give in to hate.
Not biased. I speak the truth
CA firearms have poor resale value compared to Russian gold! As soon as I hear century arms I leave the gun shop
I do not have to sell my guns so o do not care what the "resale" value is
Too bad this guy didn't do a review. Hating on the Russians is a separate issue.
The rifle is awesome
I have one and it is awesome. It would be even better if it had a scope rail.@@TerryBenton
@@dondineen110 they would be cool with a mount
Most AKs, imported here, are not Russian made. They are Romanian, Polish, Serbian, Chinese and Chech. I'm on my 4th and none of them were Russian.
Mine was not imported at all
Your 100 percent right! Steel is steel!
Yes it is. Thank you for watching and understanding. I do not hate AKs. I hate the fact that people glorify stuff that others will use against them.
Century arms AK VSKA suck because the barrells are all canted!
There is nothing wrong with this rifle
@TerryBenton I have had 2 century arms AKs, both were canted to the left!
So is it 100% American made 😂
Correct
not all Russians !!!
Right
🇺🇸 🇺🇲 🇺🇸
Yes!
Bud Russia’s not your enemy your own government is
@@roysmith5293 no. Not exactly
Russia isn’t the one putting out propaganda on the tv, or the one trying to take back your guns, or the one who’s rigging elections, or allowing all kinds of poison to be added to the food to make you sick.... or saying we don’t need a constitution.... what are you a dem watching the main stream....
Keep watching the mainstream and get ready to go turn your guns in and give up your constitution because your father the government told you so not Russia your government
Mine runs flawlessly! So from the bad reviews it's probably the f.cking shooter
I agree
I just got one last week but got the wood furniture, when i show ppl they all say the same thing, OMG 😆
Lol. They are not smart
I put the bakelite laminated wood furniture on the AK and made a video on it
I want one real bad my only reservation is ammunition availability
It always seems to be available. Even when they had the big ammo shortage you could still buy it
All Russians don’t hate all Americans super broad generalizations
Ok
