1:29 Change step value to 0.1 for it to increment 0.1 -> 0.2 -> 0.3 ... 1:42 While you were hovering over Scanlines... right click and choose copy property path...
the only problems i could see are just inconsistencies if the settings had consistent alignment, it would make it look nicer AND more accurate to Windows 95. looking at photos of the os your trying to emulate is a good start to making it look better and the icons on the desktop would look a whole lot better if they all had consistent art styles! some being flat and some being 3d isn't really appealing 😅 (the settings compared to the film reel icon is an example) otherwise, everything else looks good!
as someone who grew up with windows 95 as her first OS, this is weirdly anachronistic lol if you want to make it feel old i recommend spending some time playing with windows 95 in a VM, because you'd be surprised at how many modern operating system UI conveniences (including 24-bit colour depth) were not taken for granted in that era or forget about it and make the rest of the game lol
Yep, I'm stupid. But I actually wrote it right the second time (it was "scanlines_opacity"), there was another reason it wasn't working. But anyway, it's fixed now, so let's just forget I had a brainfart while making the video.
Looks great! Amazing how you applied all that feedback 😊

the sliders can be changed in there steps for example 0.1 now you don't have to /100
Thank you!
Man, couldn't you just go into the shader code and see what the scanlines parameter is called?
