    Thank you, thank you,thank you!!! I was close to chucking my heat press. It was a pressure thing, added a 'pillow' after watching this and voila!

      I guess I am pretty off topic but do anyone know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?

    Hi, I've used many htv and didn't have any problems. I tried a newer one which advertised longer life span and ultra thin and soft. I really liked the htv, but after the first wash, it peeled off and then i ended up peeling off the full design. Why does this happen if the htv itself promotes longer life span. This was done on a T shirt, and now I'm worried all the hoodies I've used the same vinyl on will peel too.

    How do you prevent the black ink or any other dark colors from peeling up with the transfer tape on the heat transfer film and taking the color off of the T-shirt?

    I do iron on transfer images and have this problem, but only in the corner as I begin to peel, the rest of the image is in tact and is beautiful..

      You might want to wait a few more seconds before peeling. The adhesive is still very pliable when hot. You can even try a cold peel to see if that helps. If you're still having issues, then you'll need to increase your pressure.

      There are a few possible issues that could be causing that.
      1) You are peeling at the wrong temperature. If your film is a cold peel, you must wait until the transfer has completely cooled before peeling it off your shirt. And if it's a hot peel, you should peel within about 3-5 seconds.
      2) Less likely, but the powder adhesive may not have fully cured onto your print. Be sure you're following the proper instructions for your powder and film when curing. (if you're curing in a heat press, be sure to pre-heat your lower platen for 60 seconds before curing)

    Does this method work for jet opaque transfer? Because i ran into the peeling problem where it looks like you can peel the edges

    • @HeatPressNation
      @HeatPressNation  3 года назад +1

      Yes, peeling like that is usually from insufficient pressure. Most heat transfer paper requires firm pressure, so you definitely want to double check your pressure setting.

    What kind of vinyl would you recommend that’s best for tshirt/sweatshirt designing? Also, thank you for this video as well.

      Hi there! It would depend on the fabric of the garment. If it is cotton or cotton/poly blend, then standard Siser EasyWeed HTV will work best :)

    Do you only have to press the HTV vinyl once? How can you tell if it's been applied correctly?

    • @HeatPressNation
      @HeatPressNation  11 месяцев назад

      Correct, only once. Essentially, if you use the recommended settings, you should be able to see the texture of the fabric where the vinyl is. We recommend making test shirts and washing them to ensure you are pressing the HTV correctly.

    What causes some of the cured ink to not transfer onto the fabric?

      When I press, it appears blotchy. For example, the black areas of design will not be completely black, I see through the design a bit, how do I fix this?

    Will this method work with jet opaque 2

    • @HeatPressNation
      @HeatPressNation  Год назад +1

      Yes, if your Neenah Jet Opaque II is peeling, it is almost always going to be due to insufficient pressure. We recommend using a firm pressure for that product and be sure your press is set to 350°F, 30 seconds, and peel it cold.

    Hi, I have a sports team jacket which stickers started to peel. I can't buy a new one since the team doesn't exist anymore and I don't have a heat press. Is there any way to save my stickers? 🙏

      If it's heat transfer vinyl, we recommend completely removing and replacing any peeled HTV.

    That's the problem. I've with this. But it's not resolved with pressing. Seems if it's melted it's more cracking than I'm. Only dry the powder Idk the matter.
