Thank you for letting me know I can take my image to the library and print it on the transfer paper! I have looked for that answer for three days, and have asked at hobby stores, no one had the answer! I did a shirt twenty years ago and I didn't have a computer, so I must have used a printer to copy the image . It turned out great. Again thank you!
You’re very welcome, you just need to ask in the library some of them will let you print on your own paper some would not it depends on the policy of the library. Any injet printer would do the job nothing fancy👍🏽
So glad I found your video! You made is so easy to understand. Thank you. I do have 2 questions tho. When you print do you let the ink dry and for how long? Also, what setting do you put your cricut or cutting machine. I have a cricut so I'm hoping you do as well. I'm finding that when I do print and cut, my cricut shreds some areas. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you for making this video. I really was having trouble with the dark transfer. How do you get the white ink to come through on your shirts? Would you mind making a video abou this? Every other color is really bold but the white is transparent. Thank you for the tutorial.
Excellent video. Couldn’t be more clearer ! I have learnt a lot! Just purchased the whole kit and can’t wait to try it! Please do you need sublimation inks in the printer? Have you tried to wash it even with cold water? Where are you from? More power to you!
Thank you for your comment, I’m in Ireland and very Irish😅😅I would be sincere with you, this kind of transfers are usually not suitable for everyday where as the will eventually crack but I use they for promotional or birthday T-shirt’s. This is not a sublimation paper it’s for injet but the light transfer works well with sublimation. I wash with my everyday laundry but no fabric softener as that will crack the transfer.
I am Doing this for my child’s school to save money on uniform lol and I am doing the logo. How do you cut The image so Close and so perfect? Do you have a trick to cut the images ?
Any trick to peel the paper? I'm really struggling to make it consistently. Also, it's ok if I use dark paper even on white shirts as long as I cut it? Thank you.
Try peeling the paper from one corner, it’s one of the flaws of transfer papers🥲. Yes you can use dark on white T-shirt. I have a video on how to choose dark or light transfer paper for your project
That’s not enough heat it should be 190 degree Celsius same as 375 degree Fahrenheit. So check which one you’re using. And make sure you lint roll your hat.
Please I will like to use iron because I don't have the press machine, will the ironing be better and keep the image durable on the t shirt? And also can I use only the silicon paper and leave the other paper you mentioned?
Yes you can use the pressing iron just make sure you read the instructions in temperature for home iron. You can use just the silicon paper and another T-shirt or any cloth for added security you don’t want to mess the image.
Another t-shirt on top of the design? Can the heat of the iron penetrate through? Please sorry to ask ooo, this is my first time on heat printing but am having a some work to do for some clients that's why I want to be much detailed.
Good day, trust you are well. How long before the time can you print the immages that you want to print. Will the ink from the inkjet printer not get dry and then battle to transfer correct? Sorry Im a beginner, really need some help. Thank you.
They can be stored for up to 2weeks that is how long I have tried, I don’t know if you can go longer cos I haven’t tried such. But transfers are better fresh.
How do you know which side of the transfer paper to lay on top of the picture/design? And did you put the transfer paper in your printer to print that way?
Hi I did the dark with white text on a black tshirt 50 poly 50 cotton, after I pressed with my mini press the text was grey not white. What did I do wrong?
How would I go about pressing an image that has text with it and maybe some other smaller pieces? Is there any way transfer tape can be used so all images could be included separate instead of like a square? I hope I'm making sense. I have been trying to find out how to do this forever. Thank you!
with text your best off cutting the text area from the image and the lay it to where you want it, this will reduce the outline from the transfur paper. or if you have it use the HTV but you would need to cut it on the program, citting text with knife it very hard i find...as for the smaller pieces that would depend on how small they are and you would have to leave them on the paper, trying to cut them would be a pain. hope this helps some :)
I think you are looking for a cutter, search for a machine called Cricut, it will cut the design for you so you wont have to do it. The machine will cut the outline of your image or text

I’m not really sure what your question is but if you mean the dark transfer paper isn’t sticking do the following 1. Check if you’ve peeled the image off the paper carrier, the one on the back of it 2. Check your temperature make sure you’re applying enough heat and pressure. I hope this will help

What machine do you use? All you need to do is flip horizontally
The option to print reverse is in your print setting
Where can we get this sheets
They’re available on Amazon check the link on the video
When can I get the materials
Is that parchment paper your using on top?
I used the silicone paper that came with the pack and place parchment paper on top just to double protect my heatpress
Where did you get the images?
Just off google
what kind of printer do you use?
Epson 2100
Do you work with laser jet printers?
No I only have an inkjet printer
What will happen if I don't peel off the character from dark heat transfer paper?
Then it won’t stick cos the glue is at the back you need to peel the paper off
Do you know how to make them glossy?? Or are they glossy because it doesn’t look like it from the video?
When you repress it the second time then it’s Matt. So If you want it glossy press once and wait to cool completely before peeling the silicone paper
What type of ink did u use
This is not sublimation I printed this out on my injet printer. Regular printing
What is silicone paper?
It’s comes in the pack of transfer paper.
I followed same steps. But the print is faded off after wash.
Why when I peel off the dark transfer paper, it ravels up? And therefore I can’t even print it?
Because you don’t peel before printing, you only peel when you want to adhere it to the tshirt
