As a Finn I enjoy Käärijä more than the previous more metal entries tbh. Yeah, they are maybe shocking for Eurovision, but still kinda generic (for someone living in Finland). Cha Cha Cha does have some generic thematics too in terms of Finnish party music, but it's nice that it has more layers to it too.
I personally enjoyed both styles a lot. And I don’t think we can compare them because they’re completely different. But, this song is the kind of the song that I would listen to when I need some Energy recharge. Love it!❤️
The dancers are amazing, so expressive. ❤🎉 The lyrics are kinda on par with the strangeness of everything else. Very succint, compressed and have rhyming filler-suffixes that nobody would really use in common speech. So kinda creative there too.
I know righttt!!! And imagine, this is on their own finals. I can’t wait to see all the dances and staging in Eurovision lives, it’s gonna be just Amazing! I don’t understand the lyrics at all but I saw the translation and it was pretty nice actually. I can just sing “Cha cha, Cha Cha Cha Cha😅❤️
he sings about being shy and needing many drinks to be social and dare to go to the dancefloor.. encourages everyone to be themselves and take the bull by the horns and just have fun as yourselves and dance, even cha cha cha
The language rule that you could only sing in a nationally recognised language of the country was in place from 1966 - 1973 then again 1977 - 1999. Interestingly it was because in 1965 Sweden performed in English to the shock of others. Interestingly the language rule did lead to a lot of Northern European countries Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany whose native languages have a lot of closed syllables and guttural sounds - tended to be in the bottom half of the results. Finnish which is a non-indo-european language does have open syllables but doesn't have any voiced consonants so it has a slight grating sound plus it is not a widely understood language. So they were stuffed. My favourite "language" at Eurovision was the 2003 Belgian entry where Urban Trad performed a song in a made up language it came second.
Depends. There are a lot of good Eurovision songs that are in English. But I think that Eurovision is also about culture and nationality, so what better than using those two to make a great song, right?❤️
Hey there! Seems like we're already finding new favorites huh? What do you guys think about this one?

It’s okay to think that, but I would remind you that this song: ruclips.net/video/84LBjXaeKk4/видео.html&feature=shares Won eurovision 2018😅
I am 50 years old and I love it , it is my favorite for the win . I am not the only one who lves it though I am older

@@Scheherasad same! I'm over 50 and don't see anything wrong with childlike joy! Chachacha is 🔥🎯💯😄
Song is about going to bar after work and drinking alcohol and after getting bit drunk dancing cha cha cha. So no it's not a kids song.
