Thank you for your video! He sings that he has had a rough week at work and now it's weekend and he wants to have fun and dance and enjoy himself but since he is a Finn he is a little shy and he is afraid to go to the dance floor so he has to drink some alcohol before going there. There is some self irony. He says he isn't like this normally but today he is going to be exactly like this. That's why the song changes because he has to sides on him and the other takes over after he looses up. Most Finns recognize of what he is singing about. As a Finn I like the song a lot and I love Käärijä (you pronaunced it very well!). You have a lovely cat! All the best for Ukraine in the ESC and of course the war, nothing is more important than driving the evil away from your country! I think Europe needs some fun right now so that's also why Cha Cha Cha is amazing. Hope you will be able to enjoy it and the ESC as well! Slava Ukraini!
I want you to know how much i want to hug you right now.🤗 I am sending a lot of strength from Finland to you and Ukraine in the fight against the terrorist country.💙💛🤍 All the best and please stay safe.😢💞
The song is about a man that after a long work week is reserved, grumpy and afraid of people and the world. He gets some piña coladas and slowly let loose and embraces his inner party animal. He goes crazy on dance floor and stops being afraid of the world. I like the visual of him trying to control the dancers who to me represent his inner extrovert party boy. They also open the stage at the part we here goes "fuck it" and just opens up.
I love the song, he sold it to me in his live performance, and right now, he's my winner! - Second, I hope you can keep doing this with your cat, and I hope you and your family (of course your lovely cat
Song lyrics in English: Verse 1] This exhausting week and the many long days are behind There's only bar and piña colada on my mind There is some time for a few, the night is still youngish This icy shell is something I have to demolish [Chorus] Holding on the drinks with both hands tied on them like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no There's no tomorrow when I grab a pint tightly like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no Wanna mess my head up and to free my mind of fear like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no And I stay on this seat until I have to climb off it like a [Verse 2] A couple piña coladas I have devoured Yet the expression I have on my face is sour Yeah, yeah, ye, ye, yeah There is some time for a few, the night is still youngish This icy shell is something I have to demolish The floor is calling me when I'm no longer so frozen Like a cha cha cha I am approachin' [Chorus] Holding on the drinks with both hands tied on them like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no There's no tomorrow when I grab a pint tightly like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no Wanna mess my head up and to free my mind of fear like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no And I stay on this seat until I have to climb off it like, woah [Post-Chorus] I head towards dance floor Like a cha, cha, cha And this world ain't making me scared no more Like a cha, cha, cha When champagne all over myself I pour [Bridge] Cha, cha, cha, one eye keeps turning crossed too far And talking is so hard when this different side of me does its part Cha, cha, cha, I don't usually go and drop my guard, not me But now I am that guy, now I am that guy [Post-Chorus] I head towards dance floor Like a cha, cha, cha And this world ain't making me scared no more Like a cha, cha, cha When champagne all over myself I pour Like a cha, cha, cha Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, aha Like a cha, cha, cha Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha
There are some parts of the lyrics that I would change a little, cause at least a few sentences have been translated so that they don't correspond properly to the Finnish lyrics. 🤔 However, the translation is quite good! 😊✌
Thank you for your reaction, Cha cha cha has that effect 💥✨️ I love Käärijä to bits, a great performer and a lovely guy. Your cat is so pretty..! 😍 the meows are so loud, for a moment I wondered if she slipped through the screen and into my room 😄 And also... Be safe, all of you, and persevere, Ukraine will win! 🇫🇮❤️🇺🇦
Slava Ukraini and thanks for the review. It's basically a song about a man drinking after a hard week to break free from inhibitions (to dance). This theme is popular in Finland because of strict alcohol laws. From the fact that in the 1st verse as he sings about “holding drinks with both hands" while he's literally controlling the dancers with both hands, I take that the DANCERS represent ALCOHOL. Furthermore, the dancers begin fighting during the 2nd verse, which is typical for Finns because people often drink too much. It's absolutely amazing song but I like the staging and the dancers even more! I hope the dancers follow to Liverpool!! 🇫🇮❤🕺🏻💃
Hi from Finland to you and thank you for your comment to you and your cat ;-) It is difficult not to hearing the sirens outside...we all Finns hope strength and believe in your own country. It's worth of fighting.
Of all the ESC reactors you were the first to pronaunce his name right 🙂. Your kitten is so cute, what's his/hers name is? Stay safe. 🇫🇮🤝🇺🇦 We'll stay with you.
Привіт з Фінляндії! I was lucky to visit Kyiv in 2018 and I was super impressed by the city and it's people. After the full scale war I've learned so much more about Ukraine and your music too. I hope you will soon get victory over Russia. Stay safe! Слава Україні!
Your English is great! I understood what you meant perfectly. And you and your cat are both super adorable! 🥰🐈 (What's his/her name?) 1. The staging comes from the music video, which is set in a boxing ring. The pallets are apparently a joke in Finnish, too, so I think it will probably change for the Eurovision stage. 2. The song is about a guy drinking some piña coladas after a hard week and letting loose on the dance floor, where he does "cha cha." The style change happens when he starts to let loose in the lyrics. 3. And the "cha cha" is a kind of dance, so the dancers are cha cha dancers. Stay safe in Ukraine! 💙💛 We're all praying for you.
Cha Cha Cha is a dance style. It's a type of Latin ballroom dance. The dancers are typical cha cha dancers, but demented. 😄 The wooden pallets will probably not be there in the Eurovision performance. The pallets are a joke for Finnish speakers. The rest of us won't understand the joke so they will probably change it to something else. (I don't know what they will change it to, we will see). Slava Ukraini. 💛💙
The song has a good story and the stage and dancers also have their own meaning in the song. Wooden pallets or pallets are "eurolava" in Finnish. It certainly has another meaning in this song. Lava also means performance stage in Finnish, so probably in the show it means Euro performance stage, which refers to Eurovision. The dancers apparently refer to the alcohol, which the Käärijä holds with both hands. After a few drinks, he is released to dance on stage. The lifting up of the Käärijä is described in the song, "here rises a man." The stage show is probably hard to understand if you don't know Finnish. There are many hidden references in the song and performance. When translating from Finnish to English, maybe the meaning is lost a little. I think the story of the song and the performance can be summed up like this. I hope you stay safe! 🇫🇮 ❤💙💛🇺🇦 Ukraine will WIN!!! 💪🏼
@@Linkeri-72 Se onkin mun oma näkemys. Voinkin olla täysin väärässä tulkintani kanssa. Käärijä on itse sanonut eräässä haastattelussa, että laulussa ja esityksessä on pientä piilotettua sanomaa. Enkä ole kieltänyt ketään nauttimasta esityksestä. 🙂
