Being the first team with 10 wins to not make the playoffs.. must be karma from that 7-9 season. Thank you Mike. Good first season. Can’t wait for next.
It’s crazy what ends up happening when you have a great day from your running game and complementary football coming from your passing game. It makes you wonder what this offense could’ve been like all season if they were playing like this.
He absolutely is better than a lot of people realize. Not sure why it took them so long to give him some real burn. They really couldn’t find 5-10 snaps for him a game even before K9 was injured?
@@Zorn76 the home crowd was fine except for the green bay game. Almost half the stadium was green bay fans. You just can't scream for 40 minutes of opponents offensive possession especially when the team keeps letting 3rd and long get converted.
Couple things: #1, My spidey senses tell me that Grubb was all in on pass plays from the jump knowing that Geno had 4 accelerators in his contract he'd be able to bank and wanted to get him there while there was a backup defense that could be exploited. #2, Yeah, you can make an argument for Big Cat at least being on the _ballot_ for DPOY; but with perennial dawgs like Chris Jones and Myles Garrett still rockin' it, Leo can be easily overlooked by voters. #3, I can only hope that Ryan Grubb has learned enough from his 1st season as an OC in the NFL what he can get away with and what he can't; but it's awfully hard to evaluate with clarity when JS gave him a crappy O line to work with. Granted, happenstance created a lot of churn up front (Who had Connor Williams retiring midseason on their Bingo card?), but overall the unit was sub-par, and one look at the teams who are in the dance will tell you that what they all have in common is a stout _RUN GAME_ and a top-notch _OFFENSIVE LINE._ There's no getting around that. You've got. to *run. the ball.* To do that and take advantage of play action and pre-snap shifts and motions you've got. to have. at least an average, preferably _above_ average, offensive front who are not only beasts but are _smart._
I think it's way-cool that Geno got his $6 million in bonus incentives. Mike Evans got a nice bonus too, $2 million for his 11th one thousand + yards receiving, tying Jerry Rice.
They almost beat us with Jimmy G! How much would he cost next year? Just saying. I just love how McVey runs an offense. Im fine with Geno, at the right price. We have too may holes to fill to pay a QB 45 Mil. It's going to be a tough offseason of decisions.
Kenny Macintosh makes K9 tradeable. The best ability is availability. He is incredibly talented, but with Charbonnet and Macintosh, draft another kid in the 6th...K9 will never just run where the play is supposed to and get 4 yards. Everything is trying to go yard.
@@TruthPerspecive most of geno's picks are being flushed from the pocket or DK not finishing routes. He's a starter, not a top 10 starter, but he can and will win you games. Look at his stats inside and outside the pocket, give him a solid O line and we'll get even better performance.
Problem is that you need the players to actually be set when it comes to trick plays. If I'm grubb I would be wondering if I have a right offensive line and in Washington their wasn't post snap penalties. That why I been a proponents to get penix. Instead Schneider doesn't trade up and than he grab old retreads. The fact that offense doesn't have yac guys and precise route runner at wide receiver plus all the receiver blocked in the pass or run game
It’s 2025 and Seattle still trying to find an offensive coordinator. Rinse wash and repeat is the name of the game. The way Seattle changes offensive coordinators is unheard of. I’m convinced they don’t know what they want to run on offense lmaoo
Too little , too late. Genos got to go. Lockett needs to be released (preferably resigned) and the O line needs a FA and 1st round added to it on the interior.
But I love Tyler. If he goes, I hope he retires. One of my all time favorite Hawks. Never got enough credit for his talent. DK needs to keep himself under control, if not bye bye.

Big Cat with the one handed sack 😮
Just doing his best to be DPOY

No. Geno throws way to many red zone picks due to his bad decision making.
Playing backup opponents would be optimal for sure.
Just kind of an off note here I think people need to look more at Macintosh I think he might be better than people are thinking
I think the same!
Kenny Mac is legit. He was legit at Georgia too. I am not sure why he hasn't got more carries. Makes K9 trade bait.
@stayvigilant007 k9 will need to be paid before kmac. Let's see where this goes💙💚

@dirkuhdirk5534 Maybe the new OC will see this potential.
Flubb the grubbchubb rubb in our last game dubb.

I was at Cards game (rare H win) & noise was fine. An overall losing home record since '21 as well.

They did just for my birthday my birthday was Monday January 6 this was the greatest gift for me Go Hawks 😃💙💚💙💚👍🏻🎂
Happy Black Monday, let's see what happens later
Grubb gone.
Grubb got shit canned. I'm not surprised at all. The offense is the reason why we missed the playoffs. We had ZERO identity.

Look. 👀 We almost there. Next year we can get a few OG’s and compete with ANYBODY. A couple moves to make to improve and we are ready to goto war!!!
GRUBB got fired
We need a Grubb firing reaction.

JSN looked open on the DK TD.
Maybe they wanted him to tie Lockett, and not pass his record.

If you press B as a qb you would throw the ball. But I digress, please continue…
Keep Geno, DK , and start charb , need bigger stronger offensive line
Keep fant keep barner keep Bobo keep jsn keep loxkett
Dump Grubb, whoever the O line coach is, Fant, Riq, Tomlinson, Prichett, Lockett resigned for less money. Need more D line, stronger O line.
Line won't help geno. He throws picks and fumbles a ton. The sacks and pressures is on the line. The picks and fumbles is on him being a back up qb.

Where are you getting this about Noah Fant's injury???
I was just making a joke, Kate. He did get injured and had to leave the game, but I don't think it was serious.
