COMING SOON: ONLINE COURSE "How to make keys to cars and trucks"
Welcome back, and don't forget to subscribe to my channel. Locksmiths have more gizmos than golfers. I call it locksmith porn, looking in the catalogs or online.
For impressioning, for years and years, for my whole life, all I used was a little pair of vise grips and that's how I impression my locks. Whether it's a filing cabinet lock, some of the older cars. And this is what I've been using forever, probably since I was a kid. A friend bought this and he said, "You gotta look at this". Framon makes phenomenal products. This is their impressioning tool. And again, I'm not usually into gizmos, but I gotta admit this is so well made. I'm actually in love with it. Thank you, Randy, for lending this to me.
Now I have to get one. So if you're new to impressioning or like me, you've been doing it for a long time. Get one of these, you won't regret it. It's fantastic, I love it. This is the old way I've always done it. This is a new way. It's a beautiful grip on this. It's holding that key fantastic.
I am really looking forward to the video series. I am going to be doing on impressioning locks.
Subscribe and you'll get a notification when the videos are posted. Have a good day.

If you like it now, try this: insert a thrust bearing between the handle and the knob and polish the inside surfaces... it makes it soooo much easier to clamp down hard. I also chucked mine in the lathe and dulled the knurling. Mine was so sharp that impressioning a single lock would wear blisters into my (soft lawyerly) hands.
LockPickingLawyer Thrust bearing is a good idea. Thanks.
Well well you are also a subscriber lol .Great idea ..😎
LPL is also a fan of the double entendre entry method. Lol. Thrust Nut
Can you show this on your channel ? Please
You should make a few videos on impressioning. You have over a thousand videos online, but the only one you have on impressioning, you didn't even impression yourself, and good videos on the topic are rare on RUclips. Yes, impressioning is a rather dull topic to make a video on, because it mostly consists of inserting and drawing the key a few dozen times, but then again, it's the only lock decoding method for pin tumblers and dimple locks that doesn't require exotic, expensive and highly specialized tools. Maybe show some specialized locks and methods, like non-foil impressioning on dimple locks, or check vulnerability of locks with sidebars against the method.
Looks heavy duty. Looking forward to your next vids.
I still impression cars,(with vice grips) sometimes readers are off. It's also good to keep in practice.
I've got one and I honestly rather use the vise grips. Thanks for sharing.
Tennessee Lock Picking I have been using Vise Grips forever but I did like the Framon Tool.
When should we expect our Kickstarter pick sets?
Been looking for that grip and can't seem to find it.
Jeffrey Dheere it is very well made.
Hey, buddy, where do you sell that tool? Would it work for Spain? Thank you
