Great result. I ran this race tonight in split 3 of 6. Pole in Qualifying was a 1:43! I find the standard very high (and a bit off putting) in low fuel motorsport
@@Ben_LaBroca not necessary a criticism of ACC, but I think that the style of driving is more mechanical (rinse and repeat) rather than instinctive, like other, livelier sims. I just don't have time to put the time into ACC to get competitive
Cheers Paul! That very thought was going through my mind at the time - trying to work out whether he’d have had time to get the car back around but resolving to keep my foot in 😅
@@Ben_LaBroca sometimes keeping it pinned is better. Been killed to many times by someone going of and rejoining mid apex looking forward to trying lfm soon.
That lap 1 showcased more abysmal driving standards than usual, even for LFM 😂 And you're very lenient on the guy ramming the spun McLaren at the end there. He would have a very good chance of avoiding a crash if he had bothered to pay attention to the big double yellow flags that were waved along the track, flashing on his dashboard and reported by his spotter. I'd be fuming if I was the Macca driver and got rammed like that 😆But gz on a great drive by you! The Fezza is a pretty nice car overall.
Haha, cheers Christian. Aye I think you’re right re the guy at the end - was in a bit of a rush turning the edit around so it was really only after the comms that I properly clocked he didn’t really lift at all despite the yellows being out, and the parked McLaren isn’t immediately after the apex. Indeed, the guy ahead avoids him!
Hi buddy - so I think the safest way to do it is to run some ai races and take it relatively easy, avoiding incidents. Quite quickly the rating will tot up if you run those races to the finish without crashing or going off track.
Hi Diego - thanks for stopping by! A great point - I try not to have more information up than is needed so the screen doesn't get too cluttered both for myself and the viewer, but I'll have an experiment with that as I agree it would be helpful for newcomers!
You always deliver on great narrative commentary! I am always looking forward to that:)
Ah thanks Rostislav mate - appreciate that! This video was a while ago now - been meaning to hop back on ACC for a while!
Well done Ben, nearly last to 9th, very mature race and it payed off.
Cheers Brian - a bit chaotic but glad to come through unscathed!
Really love the way you present your content Ben. you and Chris really put out class content.
Ah cheers Paul! Really appreciate the feedback buddy!
Nice race Ben & great comeback, hope to share the track with you in an LFM race one day!!
Thanks Alex buddy - yeah that would be great! I’ll be on Hungaroring at some stage this week for sure

Thanks buddy - v much appreciate the kind feedback 👍
A top 10 there Ben! Congrats!!! W
Cheers Walt!

Very good progress.
Thank you Roger!

Ha yes me too - to be honest I found the same on simgrid too, so my conclusion is I’m just slower than I’d like!! 😂

Nice job Ben. Was a bit worried on the last incedent cause of the car rejoing sideways.

An eventful start to the new year.
Haha aye it certainly blew the festive cobwebs away!

Good video. I'm wondering why you don't show the braking/acceleration indicators? This surely would help beginners.
