- Mega Man 3 was the very first game in the series I ever laid eyes on. Theres no doubt this game influenced me creatively and established much of my early gaming roots. As much as this game has its flaws I believe this game has many strengths that makes it stand out as one of the very best in the Mega Man series. I have received so much positive feedback from many of you regarding these reviews and I want to say thank you so much and it has been awesome sharing Mega Man stories. Thank you for the support and see you guys in the next episode.

@@waitingforwelfare 🙏 I’ve had a lot of great memories with MegaMan 3 and to this day I think it’s def up there at the top of the list in the classic series. The robot masters, the music,incorporating the slide in, the level design itself was off the charts and the game wasn’t even fully finished.. would have loved to find more articles on the development of it

Nice job! I absolutely love MegaMan 3, always believed the level design and music was superior to MegaMan 2. You are 100% right about the slide being an absolute game changer, love that line "it feels like it's always been there". Very cool to see you have a MOC MegaMan and ProtoMan from Bandai Toys, those are not cheap!
🙏 Yes!!! I truly believe the slide is where it’s at..when they removed it in 9 it took me a while to really get into it. And I think that also plays into the precision and unique speed runs of many of the NES platformers… like ninja gaiden aswell certain mechanics just makes the flow of the games so good when they are missing one piece of the formula it shows
I beated mega man 1 and 2 and now this underrated master piece is next in line, also the levels have very clever plot twists. Rush is also very useful
I agree! I love the fact that these early MegaMan games can almost tell a story just through very simply placed cutscenes and battles.. little things can go a long way and I think mm3 is some of the best story telling in the original games
I've always preferred MM3 over MM2. The slide, Rush, and the introduction Proto Man just put it over the top for me. And I love the sound of the new Mega Buster!

That would be pretty incredible. I would love to see a remake especially if they use the double gear system. The robot masters could additionally have powered up special attacks of their original move sets. Thank you also for the support on the video I will have MegaMan 4 review out Friday 🙏
Been playing through the original 6 Mega Man games and I think that 3 is my favorite of the lot. I love the soundtrack, the gameplay and Rush. I beat it last night and it was fairly easy to me. Good video.
🙏 MM3 is up there for me aswell. As far as robot masters I think it’s may collectively be my favorite 8. I just have so many memories with it…especially going through and battling the doc robots aswell. I will be releasing my MM5 review this Friday lmk when u finish mm4
Excellent video, all your points on the slide are perfect. I still remember when Mega Man 3 came out. I was a huge Mega Man 2 fan already and I immediately loved 3 just as much. It felt improved or refined in a lot of ways that I couldn’t articulate as a 5 year old but I knew it was a great new experience. 2 will always be my favorite but it’s a toss up between 1&3 for 2nd place.

I could def see a solid tie between 1 and 3 but I’m gonna say the one thing that 1 has over 3 is the boss masters bc the original 6 are pretty hard to top. Not sure if you were familiar with the PSP remake of mm1. i was going to ask you your thoughts on time man and oil man as the two editions robot masters
@@RockinKatReviews 1&3, such a tough call, they both have special places in my heart for different reasons. 3 is objectively a better game and more polished, 1 just has a special charm. On any given day I can switch the 2. I haven’t played the PSP version of 1, I’ve only seen those robots mentioned on reviews and usually scornfully because of Oil Man supposedly looking like blackface. Are they any good?

Oh man, Mega Man 3... It's my favorite one from the NES Mega Man games, such an innovative, awesome and just, fun game, Mega Man 3, is better than 2 for me, level design just feels more engaging and populated, the slide... Man it feels weird to go back and NOT have the slide lol. Also, the arsenal is more useful in variety in 3, even if a bit uninspired the ideas for weapons.
Agreed! I For me that was what took me a great deal of time to really get into 9 and 10. I like them much more now than I did when they first came out. The slide just makes the series that much better
Mega Man 3: Revamped Rom Hack is the closest thing to a fully finished version of the game. If you are able to play it I highly suggest it. It is the version of MM3 I have on my NES mini.
I would love to check that out I had no idea about it. If I can locate the rom I’ll def play it on my Everdrive then so I can experience it
