Bass is absolutely essential at completing the beautiful sound of these tracks, but it is actually pretty amazing that they also sound decent without bass. Not sure if it's because my mind is filling in the bass, but it does go to show how great Kurt and Dave sound in their own right! Krist is amazing though and underrated!
